सं० ई आर बी-1/ 2001/ 23 / 9 ( 1)-रेल मंत्रालय (रेलवे बोर्ड ) ने रेलवे स्टेशनों एवं गाड़ियों पर प्रदान की गई यात्री सुविधाभों की जांच के लिए राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर यात्री सुविधा समिति का पुनर्गठन करने का विनिश्चय किया है । 2. यह समिति श्री वशिष्ट नारायण सिंह , भूतपूर्व संसद सदस्य, फैक्ट्स होम अपार्टमेंट, न्यू पाटलीपुत्त कालोनी , पटमा की अध्यक्षता में कार्य करेगी ।

(क) सामान्य सफाई एवं पर्यावरण संबंधी स्थिति (ख) पीने के पानी की व्यवस्था ।
(ग ) सूचना के प्रचार के लिए यात्रियों को प्रदान की मई सुविधाएं , अर्थात् पूछताछ कार्यालय , जम उव् घोषणा प्रणाली , सूचक बोर्ड आदि ।
(भ ) लाइट, पंखों एवं अभ्य बिजली सुबिधानों की व्यवस्था । 450

(ङ) जनता की सुविधा के लिए सार्वजनिक शौचालयों, स्तानवरों, विश्रामालयों एवं प्रतीक्षालयों की व्यवस्था एवं रख - रखाव ।
( च) प्लेटफार्मों पर बेंचों, व्हील चेयरों, स्ट्रेचरों , सामान उठाने की ट्रालियों जैसी सुविधाओ की व्यवस्था । (छ) यात्रियों के लिए आरक्षण एवं बुकिंग । ( ज) सवारी डिब्बों एवं स्टेशन परिसरों में यात्रियों की सुरक्षा ।
(झ) रेल राजस्व की हानि, और
( अ) यात्रियों के साथ शिष्टाचार सुनिश्चित करना । 6. समिति के कार्यकाल की अवधि दो वर्ष अथवा अगले आदेशों तक होगी ।
6. यातायात वाणिज्य निदेशालय नोडल 'निवेशालय होगा जो समिति से समन्वय बनाए रखेगा और समिति की विभिन्न मिफारिणों को समथ पर कार्यान्वित करने के लिए कार्रवाई करेगा ।

आदेश दिया जाता है कि इस संकल्प को सामान्य सूचनार्थ भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित किया जाए ।
ए ०सी ० बक्शी संयुक्त संचिव ( राजपत्रित) रेलवे बोर्ड सं० ई आर बी 1/2001/23/9 ( 2 ):- रेल मंत्रालय ( रेलवे बोर्ड ) ने खानपान/ वेन्डिण स्टॉलों/ ट्रालियों/ बुक स्टॉलों/ पर्यटक सूचना केन्द्रों आदि के विभिन्न पहलुओं की जांच करने के लिए यात्री सेवा समिति का पुनर्गठन करने का विनिश्चय किया है । 2. यह समिति श्री राज किशोर महती, भूतपूर्व संसद सदस्य मोहल्ला चौरा गोला , धनबाष , झारखंड की अध्यक्षता में कार्य करेगी ।
3 . समिति के अन्य सदस्य नोचे लिखे अनुसार होंगे :-

4. कार्यपालक निदेशक ( पर्यटन एवं खानपान) , रेलवे बोर्ड इस समिति के सचिव होंगे ।
5. इस यात्रो सेवा समिति के विचारार्थ विषय मिलिखित होंगे:-
(1 ) खानपान/वेंडिग स्टालों/ ट्रालियों और अन्य मभी'स्थलों ' जैसे बुक स्टालों तथा अन्य विविध स्टालों , पौ 'सी'ओ आईएमडी/ एस टी डी बयों के ओकार, डिजाईन था स्थान की ममीक्षा करना और डिजाइन, आकार के साथ-साथ स्थाम के 'मानकीकरण के लिए उपायों की सिफारिश करना ताकि यह सुनिश्चित किया आ मके कि वे न केवल स्टेशन के सौन्दर्य के अनुरूप हो हों बल्कि कम से कम स्थान घेरें और यात्रियों की आत्रा- जाही में कोई बाधा न उत्पन्न करें । वे विशिष्टि तौर पर इन सेवाओं में वृद्धि तथा इनके अस्त-व्यस्त तरीके से स्थापित होने के कारण महत्वपूर्ण स्टेशनों और प्लेट- फार्मों पर भीड़- भाड़ को कम करने के उपायों की सिफारिश करेंगे ।
(१ ) यह समिति स्टेशनों और गाड़ियों में अपधिकृत फेरी वालों/ वेंडरों की समस्याओं का अध्ययन करेगी , मंवेदनशील स्थलों, खंडों और गाड़ियों की पहचाम करेगी , इस समस्या को दूर करने के लिए ओम उपायों की सिफारिश करेंगी ।
(ii ) यह समिति इन विभिन्न स्टालो'पर इस ' समय देखने हेतु अनुमत मदों की भी पुनरीक्षा करेगी और उनके मानकीकरण के सम्बन्ध में सुझाव देगी । ममिति उन मवों को चिफारिश करेगो जिन्हें स्वास्थ्य एवं साफ- मफाई के किसी जोखिम के बिना आम जनता को बेचने के लिए गामिल किया जा सकता है और जो जनता की रुचि एवं संवेदनशीलता के अनुरूप होंगी ।
(iv) यह नमिति पर्यटक सूचना केन्द्रों ओर यात्रियों को परिवहन के अन्य माधनों और शहर के नक्शो आदि को उपलब्धता के संबंध में जानकारी देने के लिए कीऑस्क स्थापित करने की आवश्यकता की जांच करेगी और अपनी सिफारिश प्रस्तुत करेगी । 111
( V) यह समिति क्षेत्रीय औवश्यकताओं के आधार पर 'पहलकों और प्रकाशनों की बिक्री और राष्ट्रीय एकता, सामाजिक न्याय, साप्रदायिक सौहार्द, ग्रामीण विकास आदि जैसी भावनाओ को प्रेरित करने वाले 'साहित्य' की बिक्री के संबंध में भी जांव करेगी और उस पर अपनी पिफारिशें देगी । यह समिति गाड़ियों और रेलवे स्टेशनों पर बजाए जाने वाले संगीत और स्टेशनों आदि पर क्लोज सर्किट टेली- विजम जैसे दृश्य माध्यम के द्वारा दिए गए संदेशों 'की भी जांच करेगी और उस पर अपनो सिफारिशे देंगी ।
6. 'इस'मतिति की'अवधि दो' वर्ष अथवा अगले आदेशों तक हींगी ।
7.खानपान एवं पर्यटन निदेशालय मोडल निवेशालय होगा जो समिति से समन्वय बनाए रखेगा और समिति की विभिन्न सिफारिशों के समय पर कार्यान्वयन के लिए कार्रवाई करेगा ।

2. The Committee will function under the chair- manshin of Shri Bashisht Narajn Singh , Ex-Member of Parliament , Friends Home Apartments , New Patliputra Colony, Patna ,

c) Facilities provided for dissemination of infor- mation to the passengers , like enquiry offices , public address system , indicator boards etc. d) Provision of lights , fans and other electrical amenities .
e) Prviosions and maintenance of public convenien- ces like public lavatories , bathrooms , retiring rooms and waiting halls .
f) Provisions of such conveniences as benches on platforms , wheel chairs , stretchers , luggage trolleys , ctc .
g) Reservation and booking in carriages and at station premises .
h) Security of passengers in carriages and at station premises .
i) Losses in railway revenues and
j) Ensuring courtesy to passengers .
5. The tenure of the Committee will be for a period of two yours or till further orders .
6. The Traffic Commercial Directorate will be the nodal Directorate interacting with the Commi- ttee and processing its various recommendations for timely implementation .
