NOTICE
the Director General has fixed the 1st August, 2001 as the date from which the medical benefits as laid down in the said Regulation 95-A and the Tamil Nadu Employees' State Insurance (Medical Benefit) Rules, 1954, shall be extended to the families of insured persons in the following area in the State of Tamil Nadu namely
"Areas comprising the Revenue Villages of Thadikombu Centre, Thadikombu, Aharam, Alakkuvarpatti, Anaipatti Thamaraikulam, Kuttathupatti Silvarpatti, Alagupatti, Gurunathanaickannur, Sullcrumbu of Dindigul Taluk and Marampadi of Vedasanthur Taluk in Dindigul District." In terms of Section 29(1) of the State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks) Act, 1959, the State Bank of India, after consulting the Board of Directors of the State Bank of Saurashtra and with the approval of the Reserve Bank of India, have appointed Shri V.K. Srivastava as Managing Director of State Bank of Saurashtra upto 31.8.2002 w.e.f. the date he assumes charge.

2 The tenure of members representing recognized placement agencies and Voluntary Coordinating Agency shall be for a period of 2 years on rotational basis. On the expiry of the tenure, the members shall not be eligible for renomination for the next succeeding 2 years.
3. No remuneration will be paid for membership of the Committee. The official members will however be entitled to draw TA/DA etc. for the journeys undertaken by them in connection with this assignment in accordance with the rules applicable to them from their respective offices. The Chairman/non-official members of the committee will be entitled to TA/DA for their journeys to attend meetings as per rules.
