का.आ. 961 ( अ )-केन्द्रीय सरकार ने, विधिविरुद्ध क्रियाकलाप (मिवारण ) अधिनियम , 1967 (1967 का 37 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II , खंड 3, उपखंड (ii ) में प्रकाशित भारत सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना सं. का. आ. 960 ( अ) तारीख 27-9-2001 द्वारा " स्टूडेन्टस इस्लामिक मूवमेंट आफ इंडिया" को विधिविरुद्ध संगम घोषित किया है ;
अतः , अब , केन्द्रीय सरकार, विधिविरुद्ध क्रियाकलाप (निवारण ) अधिनियम, 1967 ( 1967 का 37 ) की धारा 19 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, निदेश देती है कि पूर्वोक्त विधिविरुद्ध संगम के संबंध में उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 7 और 8 के अधीन उसके द्वारा प्रयोक्तव्य सभी शक्तियोंका प्रयोग राज्य सरकारों और संघ राज्य क्षेत्र प्रशासनों द्वारा भीकियाजाएगा ।

NewDelhi , the 27th September 2001 .
S.O. 961 (E) .-Whereas , in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub -section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967) , the Central Government have declared the " Students Islamic Movement of India " as an unlawful association, vide the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of HomeAffairs number S.O. 960(E) dated 27th September, 01 ; published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part- II Section 3 , Sub- section ( ii) ofthe same date;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 ofthe Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967) , the Central Government hereby directs that all the powers which are exercisable by it under sections , 7 and 8 of the said Act shall also be exercisedby the State Governments and the Union Territory Administration in relation to the aforesaid unlawful association.
