MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 27th September, 2001

S.O.963(E).~ Whereas it appears to the Central Government for public purpose to acquire land mentioned in the Schedule annexed hereto, for building (four-laning) of National Highways No.60 from Km. 101.200 to Km. 119.275 (Govindpur Brahman Sasan to Rupnarayanpu) in Midnapore District in the State of West Bengal

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to acquire the said land in the district of Midnapore as per the said Schedule.

The land plans and other details of lands covered under this notification are available with, and can be inspected by the interested person in, the office of the competent authority, that is, the Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition), Office of the Collector and District Magistrate, District Midnapore, West Bengal.

Any person interested in the said land may submit objection, if any, to the competent authority within twenty-one days from the date on which copies of. the Gazette containing this notification are made available to the public.
