2. यह समूह सचिवों को समिति द्वारा दिए गए समय को ध्यान में रखकर बैठक करेगा और अपनी कार्य योजना तैयार करेगा ।
3. यह समूह अपने गठन से तीन माह के भीतर केन्द्र सरकार को अपनी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करेगा ।
4. यह समूह अपनी रिपोर्ट में ग्रेट अंडमानियों, ओंगी, और अन्य आदिम जनजातियों के समक्ष आ रही समस्याओं को स्पष्ट रूप से बताएगा और उन्हें पूरी तरह विलुप्त होने या उनकी पहचान और संस्कृति खोने के खतरे से बचाने के लिए योजनाएं और कार्यक्रम आरंभ करने के लिए केन्द्र सरकार और अंडमान एवं निकोबार प्रशासन को सक्षम बनाने के लिए उप- चारात्मक उपाय सुझाएगा ।
5. टीए/डीए के उद्देश्य से समिति के गैर -सरकारी दस्यों को केन्द्र सरकार के ग्रेड- अधिकारियों के बराबर माना जाएगा, जो विमान - यात्रा करने के पात्र हैं ।

For the purpose of TA/DA , the non- official member ( s ) of the Committee will be treated as equivalent to Grade I Officers of the Central Government entitled to travel by air.
