3. Consequent upon his regular appointment as Under Secretary, his pay will be fixed notionally w.e.f. 1-7-91. However, the actual benefit of higher pay on account of notional re- fixation will accrue from the date of his initial appointment as Under Secretary on ad-hoc basis ordered centrally by the Department of Personnel and Training . The Officer would be entitled to arrears on account of re-fixation of pay from the dates of his actual appointment to the grade of Under Secretary on adhoc basis ordered centrally by 487
