नई दिल्ली, दिनाँक 27 अक्तूबर 2003 सं ० 109-प्रेज/ 2003-- राष्ट्रपति सचिवालय की भारत के राजपक्ष के भाग I खण्ड 1 में शनिवार दिनांक 28 अक्तूबर, 2000 को प्रकाशित दिनांक 20 सितम्बर , 2000 की अधि- सूचना सं ० 142- प्रेज/ 2000 के तहत संस्थापित पुलिस ( आंत- रिक सुरक्षा सेवा ) पदक में " पांचवा" शब्द से आरम्भ होने वाले विद्यमान पैरा को इस प्रकार प्रतिस्थापित किया जाए :-- "पांचवा पदक प्रदान किए जाने बाले पुलिस कार्मिकों के नामों का रजिस्टर गृह मंत्रालय में ऐसे व्यक्ति(यों ) द्वारा रखा जाएगा जिसे राष्ट्रपति निदेश देंगे ।"

4. राज्योंसंघ शासित क्षेत्रों में पुलित्र विभाग के प्रमुखों अर्थात् पुलिस महानिदेशकों तथा केन्द्रीय पुलिस संगठनों के प्रमुखों अर्थात् महानिदेशकों को संविधियों, नियमों के उपबंधों तथा समय-समय पर जारी अनुदेशों के धनु- रूप अपने पात्त्र पुलिस कार्मिकों पुलिस ( आंतरिक सुरक्षा सेवा ) पदक प्रदान करने लिए शक्तियां प्रत्या- योजित की जाती हैं ।

इस समिति का कार्य राजभाषा विभाग द्वारा निर्धारित नीतियों के अनुसार खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्योग मंत्रालय तथा उसके अधीनस्थ कार्यालयों मे हिन्दी के प्रगामी प्रयोग से संबंधित विषयों पर आवश्यक सलाह देना होगा ।
3. कार्यकाल
समिति का कार्यकाल सामान्यतः इसके गठन की तारीख से , निम्नलिखित शर्तों के अधीन , तीन वर्ष तक होगा बशाते:-

( क) जो संसद सदस्य इस समिति के सदस्य है, वे संसद सदस्य न रहने पर इस समिति के सदस्य नहीं रहेंगे ।
(ख) समिति के पदेन सदस्य अपने पद पर कार्य करते रहने तक समिति के सदस्य होंगे ।
(ग ) यदि किसी सदस्य के त्यागपत्त्र, मृत्यु आदि के कारण कोई स्थान रिक्त होता है तो उस स्थान पर नियुक्त सदस्य तीन वर्ष के कार्यकाल की शेष अवधि के लिए ही सदस्य रहेगा ।
4. सामान्य
समिति का मुख्यालय नई दिल्ली में होगा । किंतु समिति अपनी बैठकें आवश्यकता पड़ने पर किसी अन्य स्थान पर भी कर सकती है ।
1 5. यात्रा तथा अन्य भत्ते
समिति की बैठकों में भाग लेने के लिए गैर -सरकारी सदस्योंको राजभाषा विभाग के दिनांक 22 जनवरी, 1987 के कार्यालय ज्ञापन सं ० II/ 20034/ 4/ 86- रा ० भा० (क ० 2) में निहित दिशानिर्देशों के अनुरूप और भारत सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर यथासंशोधित निर्धारित दरों एवं नियमों के अनुसार यात्ना भत्ता और दैनिक भत्ता दिया जाएगा ।

आदेश दिया जाता है कि इस संकल्प की एक प्रति समिति के सभी सदस्यों, प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय , मंत्रिमंडल सचिवालय, संसदीय कार्य मंत्रालय, लोक सभा सचिवालय/ राज्य सभा सचिवालय, योजना आयोग, राष्ट्रपति सचिवालय , उपराष्ट्रपति सचिवालय , संसदीय राजभाषा समिति सचिवालय , भारत के नियंत्रक एवं महालेखा परीक्षक, भारत का निर्वाचन आयोग , संघ लोक सेवा आयोग , मुख्य घेतन तथा लेखा अधिकारी , खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्योग मंत्रालय , मंत्रालय के अधीनस्थ कार्यालय/ स्वायत्त संगठन और भारत सरकार के सभी मंत्रालयों/विभागों को प्रेषित की जाए ।
यह भी आदेश दिया जाता है कि इस संकल्प को सामान्य जानकारी के लिए भारत के राजपत्त्र में प्रकाशित किया जाए ।

"Fifthly-A register of names of Police Personnel who are awarded this Medal shall be kept in the Ministry of Home Affairs by such person ( s ) as the President may direct" .

2. Functions of the Committee
The functions of the Committee will be to advise on matters relating to progressive use of Hindi in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and its subordinate offices in accordance with policies laid down by the Department of Official Language .
3. Tenure
The term of the Committee will be three years from the date of its composition provided that :-
a) A Member of Parliament who is a member of this Committee shall cease to be a member of the Committee as soon as he ceases to be a Member of Parliament .
(b ) Ex - officio members of the Committee shall conti- nue as member as long as they hold office by virtue of which they are members of the Com- mittee .
If a vacancy arises in the Committee due to resig- nation . death etc. of a member , the member appointed in that capacity shall hold office for the residual term .
4. General
The headquarters of the Committee shall be at New Delhi but it may hold its meetings at any other station also.
5. Travelling and other allowances .
The non-official members of the Committee shall be paid travelling and daily allowances for attending the mee ing of the Committee as per the guidelines contained in O.M. No. II /20034 /4 / 86- OL ( A- 2 ) dated 22 January , 1987 of Depart- ment of Official Languages and at the prescribed rates and as per rules amended by Government of India from time to time.

It is ordered that a copy of the Resolution be com- municated to all members of the Committee , Prime Minister's office , Cabinet Secretariat , Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs . Lok Sabha Secretariat , Rajya Sabha Secretariat , Planning Com- mission , President's Secretariat , Vice -President's Secretariat . Offict of the Parliamentary Committee on Official Language . Comptroller and Auditor General of India, Election Commis- sion of India, Union Public Service Commission , Principal Pay and Account Officer , Ministry of Food Processing Industries . Subordinate office / Autonomous body of Ministry of Food Processing Industries and all Ministries / Departments of the Government of India .
It is also ordered that the resolution be published in the Gazette of India for general information .

7 New Delki , the 21st September 2003 RESOLUTION
No. X.19014/ 1 /95- D/DMS &PFA. The term of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Committee constituted vide Resolution No. X.19020 / 1 /89 - DMS & PFA dated 12-3-1991 , which was ex- tended upto 11-9-2003 , is further extended for a period of six months , i.e. upto 11-3-2004.
The other terms and conditions of the Committee will remain the same .
ORDER
Ordered that a copy of the Resolution may be sent to all the Ministries /Departments of the Govt . of India , Directorate General of Health Services , New Delhi and all the Members of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Committee ( List enclosed ).
Ordered that a copy of the Resolution be published in the Gazette of India for general information.
