2. संस्थान के अनुरोध और विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की सलाह पर केन्द्र सरकार ने यह घोषणा की कि मोदी इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ एजुकेशन एण्ड रिसर्च, लक्ष्मणगढ़ के वर्तमान नाम को "मोदी इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नालॉजी एण्ड साइंस, लक्ष्मणगढ़ , राजस्थान" में परिवर्तित कर दिया जाए ।
2. परिषद के अध्यक्ष का चयन परिषद के सदस्यों द्वारा उन्हीं के मध्य से किया जाएगा ।
