आ.अ. 43.- भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के, तारीख 09 फरवरी , 2004 के आदेश संख्या , 76/उ ० प्र० - वि० स०/2003 ( उप ) के साथ संलग्न सारणी के स्तम्भ 1 से 5 में , क्रम संख्या 5 में विनिर्दिष्ट शब्द एवं अंकों को हटा दिया जाये । इसके बाद की प्रविष्टियों की क्रम संख्या स्वतः ही परिवर्तित मानी जायेगी ।

आ.अ. 44.- भारत निर्वाचन आयोग ने अपनी दिनांक 22-07-2004 की अधिसूचना सं. 154/पाँडि./2004- का. प्रशासन द्वारा श्रीमती एम. सथियावधि, आई. ए. एस. के स्थान पर श्री आर. आई. जयप्रकाश, आई. ए. एस. ( ए. जी. एम. यू. टी: 87 ) को संघ राज्य क्षेत्र पाँडिचेरी के लिए मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी नामांकित किया है । चूँकि, श्रीमती एम. सथियावथि पाँडिचेरी सरकार के साथ अभी भी कार्यरत हैं, अतः आयोग ने संघ राज्य क्षेत्र पाँडिचेरी के लिए मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी के रूप में श्री आर. आई. जयप्रकाश के उक्त नामांकन को निरस्त करने का निर्णय लिया है । 2. तद्नुसार, आयोग की दिनांक 22-07-2004 की उपर्युक्त संदर्भित अधिसूचना सं. 154/पाँडि/2004- का. प्रशासन अधिसूचना जारी करने की तिथिअर्थात् 22-07-2004 से एतद्वारा वापिस ली गई समझी जाएगी ।

O.N. 44. The Election Commission of India vide its Notification No. 154/POND /2004- P. Admn . dated 22-07-2004 has nominated Shri R.I. Jaiprakash , IAS ( AGMUT: 87) as the Chief Electoral Officer for the Union Territory of Pondicherry in place of Smt . M Sathiyavathy, IAS. Since , Smt . M. Sathiyavathy continues to be with the Government ofPondicherry, the Commission has decided to cancel the said nomination of Shri R.1. Jaiprakash as the Chief Electoral Officer for the Union Territory ofPondicherry.
2. Accordingly, the Commission's Notification No. 154/POND/2004 -P. Admn. dated 22-07-2004 referred to above is hereby treated to be withdrawn from the date of issue of Notification i.e. 22-07-2004.
