2. समिति के कार्य
इस समिति के कार्य उपभोक्ता मामले , खाद्य और सार्व- जतिहरण मंत्राला और उसके प्रयास यंत्रणाधीन सभी अवीवर्ती कार्यालयों को सरकारी कामहज में हिन्दी के प्रगामी प्रयोग संबंधितविषयों तथा गृह मंत्रालय ( राजभाषा विभाग) द्वारा विरानो संबंधी ढांचे के अंतर्गत आने बाले मामलों पर सत्राह देना होगा ।
3. कार्य काल
इस समिति का कार्यकाल इसके पुनर्गठन की तारीख से तीन वर्ष तक होगा, परन्तु:-
(क) जो संसद सदस्य समिति के सदस्य हैं, वे संसर सदस्य न रहने पर इस समिति के सदस्य भीः नहीं रहेंगे ।
1 ( ख ) समिति के पदेन सदस्य उस समय तक बने रहेंगे जब तक कि वे अपने-अपने उन पदों पर हैं जिनके कारण वे समिति के सदस्य हैं ।
( ग) यदि तिसी सदस्य के त्याग-पत्र देने, मृत्यु आदि के कारण समिति में कोई स्थान रिक्त हो । है तो उसके स्थान पर नियुक्त किया गया सदस्य तीन वर्ष के कार्यकाल की शेष अवधि के लिए सदस्य रहेगा ।
4. सामान्य
समिति का प्रधान कार्यालय नई दिल्ली में होगा , किन्तु समिति अपनी बैठकें किसी अन्य स्थान पर भी कर सकती है ।
5. यात्रा भत्ता और अन्य भत्ते
समिति की बैठकों में भाग लेने के लिए गैर-सरकारी सदस्यों को राजभाषा विभाग के दिगंक 22 जत्वरो , 1987 का ० जा ० संख्या- II/ 2004/ 4/86-रा० भा० ( 6-2 ) में निहित दिशा-विदेशों के अनुरूप और भारत सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर यथासंशोधित निर्धारित दरों एवं नियमों के अनुसार यात्रा भत्ता और दैनिक भत्ता दिया जाएगा ।
आदेश
आदेश दिया जाता है कि इस संकल्प की प्रति सभी राज्य सरकारों , संघ राज्य क्षेत्र के प्रशासनों, प्रधान मंत्री कार्यालय , मंत्रिमंडल सचिवालय, संसदीय कार्य मंत्रालय, लोक सभा सचिवालय , राज्य सभा सचिवालय, योजना आयोग, राष्ट्रर्गत सचिवला, भारत के नियंत्रक और महालेखापरोक्षक , लेखा नियंत्रक, उपभोक्ता मामले, खाच और स र्वजनिक वितरण मंत्रालय और भारत सरकार के सभी मंत्रायों तथा विनानों को भेजा जाए ।
यह भो आदेश दिना जाता है कि इस संकल्प को जन- साधारण को जारी के लिए भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित कराया जाए ।

II . Functions of Samiti
The Samiti would render advice to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs , Food and Public Distr bution and all offices under its Administrative Control on matter relating to the progressive use of Hindi for official purpose and on allied issues falling within the framework of the policy laid down by the Ministry of Home Affairs ( Department of Official Language).
III . Tenure
The term of the Samiti will be three years froin the date of its reconstitution provided that :
(a) a member who is a Member of Parliament ceases to be a member of the Samiti as

[ PART 1] soon as he ceases to be a Member of Parliament;
( b) ex- officio members of the Samiti shall continue as members as long as they hold office by virtue of which they are members of the Samiti;
(c) if a vacancy arises on the Samiti due to resignation , death, etc. of a member , the member appointed in that capacity shall hold office for the residual term of three years .
IV . General
The Headquarters of the Samiti shall be in New Delhi but it may hold its meeting at any other station also .
Travelling and other Allowances :
The non -official member will be paid travelling and daily allowance , for attending the meetings of the Samiti as contained in the guidelines issued by the Department of Official Language vide their O.M. No. II.20034/ 4 / 86- OL( A- 2 ) dated 22-1-1987 and as per prescribed rate and rule amended by Government of India from time to time .

Ordered that a copy of this Resolutionbe com- municated to all the State Governments , Union Territory Administrations , Prime Minister's Office , Cabinet Secretariat , Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs , Lok Sabha Secretariat , Planning Com- mission , President's Secretariat , Comptroller and Auditor General of India , Controller of Accounts , Ministry of Consumer Affairs , Food & Public Dis- tribution and all the Ministries and Departments of Government of India ,
