मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय (माध्यमिक और उच्चतर शिक्षा विभाग ) नई दिल्ली, दिनांक 17 जनवरी 2005 स ० एफ ० 20-3/ 2004-यू०-3--विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आधोर अधिनिधन, 1956 ( 1955 का 3) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत शतियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार ने अग्नो दिनांक 20-2-1992 को अधिसूचना संख्या 9-6 / 90 -यू० 3 द्वारा बगाल इंजीनियरो कालेज, हायड़। को समविश्वविद्यालय का दर्जा प्रदान किया था । पश्चिन बंगाल सरकार ने 'पश्विन बंगाल राज्य विधान मण्डल' के दिनांक 2-9-2004 और वर्ग अधिनियन XIII द्वारा 2004 के इजोकाज को राज्य विश्वविद्यालय में परिवसित कर दिया है तथा दिनांक 2-9-2004को, त्रिसूत्रता संग्रा 1361- एल के द्वारा इसका नाम ' बंगल इंजीनियरों ओर विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय हावड़ा " कर दिया है ।
2. तदनुसार, मारत सरकार ' बंगाल इजीनियरी कालेज' को प्रदान किया गया सवारका दर्जा वापस लतो है और यह इसके रराज्य विविद्यालय में परिवर्तन को तिथि से प्रभावी होगा । .
सुनिल कुमार, संयुक्त सचिव (प्रारंभिक शिक्षा और साक्षरता विभाग ) नई दिल्लो, दिनांक 19 जनवरी 2005 विषय: सर्व शिक्षा अभियान हेतु राष्ट्रोन निशा को स्थापना सं ० एफ ० 2-4/ 2000- ईई- 3- भारत सरकार ने संकल्प सं ० एफ०-2-4/ 2000- डेस्क (ई ० ई ० ) दिनांक 3 दिसम्बर , 2004 के जरिए प्रधान मंत्री की अध्यक्षता में सत्र शिक्षा अभियान के लिए राष्ट्रीय मिशन के सदस्यों को नामित किया है ।
2. सर्व शिक्षा अभियान राष्ट्रोत मिशन की एक शासी परिषद् और एक कार्यकारी समिति है ।
3. उपर्युक्त अधिसूचना के पैरा -3 ( viii ) को निम्नानुसार पढ़ा जाए:

MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
( DEPARTMENT OF SECONDARY & HIGHER EDUCATION)
New Delhi , the 17th January 2005 No. F. 20-3/2004- U.3 - Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act , 1956 (3 of 1955 ) , granted Deemed to be University status to the Bengal Engineering College , Howrah vide its notification No. 9-6/ 90 - U.3 dated 20-2-1992 . The Bengal Engineering College has been con- verted by the Government of West Bengal into a State University with its name as " The Bengal Engineering and Science University, Howrah " through an Act XIII of 2004 dated 2-9-2004 of West Bengal State Legislative and notified vide State Government Notification No. 1361 - L dated 2-9-2004.
2. The Government of India accordingly revoke the Status of Deemed to be University conferred on Bengal Bazineering College , Howrah with effect from the laersion into a State University .
