III . समिति का कार्य
समिति, माध्यमिक और उच्चतर शिक्षा विभाग, प्रारंभिक शिक्षा और साक्षरता विभाग तथा महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग के काम- काज में राजभाषा के प्रभावी कार्यान्वयन और इससे सम्बद्ध मामलों पर परामर्श देयी । IV. समिति का कार्यकाल
सर्मित के सदस्यों की कार्यकाल सामान्य रूप से समिति के गठन की तारीख से निम्नलिखित बातों के अधीन तीन वर्ष होगा:-
(क) जो संसद सदस्य समिति के सदस्य हैं, वे संसद सदस्य न रहने पर समिति के सदस्य नहीं रहेंगे । (ख) समिति के पदेन सदस्य अपने पद पर कार्य करते रहने तक समिति के सदस्य रहेंगे ।
(म) यदि किसी सदस्य की मृत्यु हो जाने के कारण अथवा समिति की सदस्यता से त्याग- पत्त्र देने के कारण स्थान खाली होता है तो उस स्थान पर नियुक्त सदस्य तीन वर्ष के कार्यकाल की शेष अवधि के लिए ही सदस्य रहेगा ।
V. सामान्य
समिति का मुख्यालय नई दिल्ली में होगा किन्तु समिति अपनी'बैठक आवश्यकता पड़ने पर दिल्ली से बाहर किसी अन्य स्थान पर भी कर सकती है ।
समिति की बैठकों में भाग लेने के लिए गैर सरकाले सदस्त्रों को राजभाषा विभाग के दिनांक 22 जनवरी, 1980 के कार्यालय शा० संख्या-11/ 20034/4/ 86-₹१० भा० ( क-2 ) में निहितः दिशा-निर्देश के अनुरूप और भारत सरकारद्वारा समय-समय पर यथा संशोधित निर्धारित दरों एवं नियमों के अनुसार यात्रा भत्ता और दैनिक भत्ता दिया जाएगा ।

आदेश दिया जाता है कि संकल्प की प्रति समिति के सभी सदस्यों, सभी राज्य सरकारों और संघ राज्य क्षेत्र प्रशासनों, प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय , मंत्रिमंडल सचिवालय , संसदीय कार्य मंत्रालय, शोक सभा सचिवालय , राष्ट्रपति सचित्रालय , भारत के नियंत्रक तथा महालेखापरीक्षक और भारत सरकार के सभी मंत्रालय और विभागों को भेजी जाएः

Now, there will be a Chairman , 24 official members including Member - Secretary and 42 non- official memters in the reconstituted All India Handicrafts Board . All other terms & conditions recorded in the resolution dated 10-12-2004 will remain same .

F. No. K- 16/ 4/ 98- P & R- The All India Handi- crafts Board was re - constituted vide resolution of even no . dated 10-12-2004 for a tenure of two years . The Government of India has decided to induct following new non - official members in the re- constituted All India Handicrafts Board while retaining all official and non - official members of the existing All Incia Handicrafts Board recorded in the resolution dated 10-12-2004 and 10-02-2005.
ORDERED that a copy of this Resolution be communicated to all concerned and that it be published in the Gazette of India .

III . FUNCTIONS OF THE SAMITI
The functions of this samiti will be to advise the Department of Secondary and Higher Educa- tion , Department of Elementary Elucation and Literacy and the Department of Women and Child Development for the effective implementation of official Language and its related matters .
IV . TENURE OF THE SAMITI
The Tenure of the Samiti shall ordinarily be three years from the date of constitution provided that: -
(a) a member, who is Member of Parliament ceases to be member of the Samiti as soon as he ceases to be a Member of Parliament .
(b) ex- officio (members of the Samiti shall conti- nue as members as long as they hold the office by virtue of which they are members of the Samiti .
(c if on the Samiti due to a vacancy arises resignation , or death of a member , the member appointed in that capacity shall hold the office for residual term .
(V. GENERAL
Headquarter of the Samiti will be in New Delhi , but Samiti can hold its meeting in any other place other than Delhi , if necessary .
VI . T.A. AND OTHER ALLOWANCES The non - official members will be paid TA/DA for attending the meeting of the committee as per Guidelines and at the rates and rules as revised prescribed by Govt. of India from time to time vide O.M. No. 11 / 20034 /4 / 86 - OL( A.2 ) dated 22nd January , 1987 of the Department of Official Language ,
