(i ) Ad hoc promotion is purely as a stop- gap measure and shall not confer any right to continue in the grade indefinitely or for inclusion in the Select List
[PART I-SEC . 2 for regular appointment or to claim seniority in the Section Officer's grade .
(ii) Ad hoc arrangement will continue till regular candidates in Section Officer's Grade are available through Seniority Quota and/or Limited Departmental Competitive Examination ( LDCE) . In the event of the ad hoc appointees not qualifying for regular appointment in either of these two categories , they will be reverted to the Assistant's Grade on availability of such regular Section Officers ,
