सेवा आयोग के दिर्नांक 30-5-2005 के निर्णय के परिणाम- स्वरूप तथा भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( पदोन्नति द्वारा नियुक्ति) विनियम , 1955 के विनियम 9 के उपविनियम( 1 ) के साथ पठित भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( भर्ती ) नियम, 1954 के नियम 9 के उप- नियम ( 1 ) द्वार। प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, राष्ट्रपति उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस सेवा के सदस्य श्री सुग्रीव गिरी ( जन्म तिथि01-01-1955 ) को भारतीय पुलिस सेवा में परिवीक्षा पर नियुक्त करते हैं और उन्हें भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( संवर्ग ) नियम , 1954 के नियम 5 के उप- नियम, ( 1 ) के तहत उत्तर प्रदेश संवर्ग आवंटित करते हैं । यह निथ क्ति इस अधिसूचना के जारी प्रभावी होगी । होने की तारीख से यह नियुक्ति माननीय इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय की लखनऊ पीठ में दायर की गई 2004 की रिट याचिका सं० 798 ( एस/बी) तथा माननीय राज्य लोक सेवा अधिकरण , लखनऊ में दायर की गई दावा याचिका सं ० 412 के निर्णय के अधीन होगी ।
