समिति के कार्य
सं. एफ. 24-6/2002- टी.एस.- 3--शैक्षिक अर्हताओं को मान्यता प्रदान करने वाली उच्च स्तरीय समिति की सिफरिश पर भारत सरकार ने ' इंस्टिट्यूशन आफ इंजीनियर्स ( इंडिया ) , 8 गोखले रोड, कोलकाता ' द्वारा संचालित संशोधित अनुभाग ' ए ' एवं ' बी ' परीक्षा के निम्नलिखित 15 पाठ्यक्रमों को भारत के मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालयों द्वारा इंजीनियरी की उपयुक्त शाखा में दी जाने वाली डिग्री के समतुल्य मान्यता प्रदान करने का निर्णय लिया है : --
1. एअरोस्पेस इंजीनियरी
2. एग्रीकल्चरल इंजीनियरी
3. आर्किटेक्चर इंजीनियरी
इस समिति का कार्य संविधान में राजभाषा संबंधी प्रावधानों , राज- भाषा अधिनियम/नियमों के उपबंधों, केन्द्रीय हिन्दी समिति के निर्णयों तथा गृह मंत्रालय के राजभाषा विभाग द्वारा जारी निदेशों के कार्यान्वयन के बारे में कम्पनी कार्य मंत्रालय के कामकाज में हिन्दी के प्रगामी प्रयोग को बढ़ाने के लिए सलाह देना है ।

Functions of the Samiti
The function of the Samiti is to render advice in regard to the implementation of the provisions relating to Official 196
language Hindi Contained in the Constitution, Official Languages Act and Rules , and Policy decisions of the Kendriya Hindi Samiti and instructions issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs /Department of Official Language relating to Official Language Hindi and also in regard to - the Progressive use of Hindi in the Ministry of Company Affairs .
Tenure
The tenure of the members of the Samiti shall ordinarily be three years from the date of its constitution provided that :-
(a) A member, who is Member of Parliament, ceases to be a member of the Samiti as soon as he/ she ceases to be a Member of Parliament .
(b) Ex -officio Member of the Samiti shall continue as members as long as they hold the office by virtue of which they are members of Samiti .
(c) If a vacancy arises in the Samiti due to resignation, death etc. of the member, the member appointed on the vacancy shall hold office for the residual term of three years .
Travelling and Daily Allowance
The Non- official members will be paid travelling and daily allowances for attending the meetings of the Samiti as per the guidelines given in Department of Official Language Office Memorandum No. 11 /20034/4/ 86/OL/ (K -2 ) dated 22nd January, 1987 and the rates fixed by the Government of India from time to time .
Headquarters
The headquarters of the Samiti shall be at New Delhi , but if considered necessary, it may hold its meetings at any other place also .
