सं० 13 -प्रेज/ 2006- राष्ट्रपति गणतंत्र दिवस 2006 के अवसर पर निम्नलिखित अधिकारी को उनकी वीरता के लिए राष्ट्रपति का गृह रक्षा एवं नागरिक सुरक्षा पदक सहर्ष प्रदान करते हैं । श्री वेंकटेस्वरण गृह रक्षक कार्यकर्ता अण्डमान एवं निकोबार
दिनांक 26.12.2004 को प्रतः 6 बजकर 20 मिनट पर द्वीप को तबाह करने वाला 9.2 की तीव्रता से सुनामी नामक एक भयंकर भूकम्प आया । विशालकारी घातक लहरें इतनी विनाशकारी थीं कि उसने हजारों को मौत के घाट उतार दिया और इस द्वीप के इतिहास में बिना पूर्व निर्धारित इतनी तबाही पहले कभी नहीं हुई ।
श्री वेंकटेस्वरण, गृह रक्षक संख्या 491 , जो उस दिन पुलिस स्टेशन में डयूटी पर तैनात थे , ने देखा कि एक बूढ़ी औरत उँची लहरों में बही जा रही थी । इन्होंने अपनी जान पर खेल कर उस औरत( श्रीमती पेचियंम्मा, पत्नी श्री कन्नन, पता कटचल) को बचाया और उसे एक सुरक्षित स्थान पर पहुंचाया ।
इस प्रकार श्री वेंकटेस्वरण ने अपनी अपूर्व वीरता , अनुकरणीय साहस, कार्य दक्षता और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा का एक उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया ।
यह पुरस्कार वीरता के लिए राष्ट्रपति का गृह रक्षा एवं नागरिक सुरक्षा पदक पुरस्कार को शासित करने वाले नियमों के नियम 3 (i ) के तहत प्रदान किया जात है और परिणामतः नियम 5 के तहत एकमुश्त अनुदान इसके साथ देय होगा ।

31 दिसम्बर , 2004 की रात्रि को ए-117, डब्ल्यू.एच.एस. , कीर्ति नगर , लक्कड़ मंडी, दिल्ली स्थित लकड़ी के एक गोदाम में भीषण आग लग गई। बेसमेंट, भूतल और उससे उपर की तीनों मंजिलों सहित पूरा गोदाम लकड़ी के फर्नीचर और अत्यन्त ज्वलनशील वार्निश सहित रसायनों से पूरी तरह भरा हुआ था । हवा कुछ तेज थी और आग की लपटें प्रत्येक मंजिल की खिडकियों से चारों और निकल रहीं थी । 0528 बजे आग लगने की सूचना प्राप्त होने पर, उप मुख्य अग्नि शमन अधिकारी, श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार के नेतृत्व में अग्शिमन दस्ता, अग्नि शमन गाड़ियों के साथ निकल पड़ा ।
आस - पास के अन्य गोदामों में आग फैलने की सम्भावना को भांपते हुए , उप मुख्य अग्नि शमन अधिकारी, श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार ने प्रभावित भवन के आस - पास के भवनों पर और साथ ही साथ उत्पन्न हुई गर्मी के वेग को कम करने के लिए आग लगने के स्थान पर पानी की बौछार करने का निर्णय लिया। उन्होंने 15-20 लोगों का एक कोर ग्रुप गठित किया और अन्दर जाने के लिए भवन के शटर को तोड़ दिया । गोदाम में प्रवेश करने पर और आग लगने के मूल स्थान पर कार्रवाई करते समय अन्दर की तरफ एक विस्फोट हुआ और सारा भवन ढह गया, जिसमें उप मुख्य अग्नि शमन अधिकारी , स्व० श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार सहित उपर उल्लिखित सभी अग्नि शमन कार्मिक फंस गए जिनकी बाद में , जलने के कारण घटना स्थल पर ही मृत्यु हो गई या उन्होंने जख्मों के कारण अस्पताल में दम तोड़ दिया। 201 भारत का राजपत्र, मार्च 11, 2006 ( फाल्गुन 20, 1927)

इस घटना के दौरान सर्वश्री श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार, उप मुख्य अग्नि शमन अधिकारी , श्री अजब सिंह भाटी, सहायक मंडल अधिकारी , श्री राम किशन, सब आफिसर, श्री विजयपाल सिंह कुंडु , फायरमैन , श्री दलबीर सिंह खत्री, फायरमैन, श्री राम प्रवेश रोहिल्ला, फायरमैन और श्री सुभाष चंदर , फायरमैन ने अपनी सुरक्षा की परवाह किए बिना नागरिकों की जान एवं माल की सुरक्षा के लिए उत्कृष्ट वीरता , अदम्य साहस, नेतृत्व, व्यवसायिक कुशलता और उच्च कोटि की कर्त्तव्य - परायणता का परिचय दिया।
ये पुरस्कार, वीरता के लिए राष्ट्रपति के अग्नि शमन सेवा पदक पुरस्कार को शासित करने वाले नियमों के नियम 3 ( i ) के तहत प्रदान किये जाते हैं और परिणामतः नियम 5 ( क ) के तहत अनुमेय विशेष भत्तादिनांक 31.12.2004 से इनके साथ देय होगा ।

4 मार्च , 2005 की रात लगभग 17.34 बजे, मलाई मंदिर, सैक्टर-8 , आर ० के० पुरम, नई दिल्ली के निकट एल ०पी० जी ० चालित एक मारुति वैन में आग लगने की सूचना प्राप्त होने पर अग्नि शमन सेवा दल हरकत में आया और घटना स्थल पर पहुंच कर आग बुझाने का कार्य शुरू कर दिया । आग बुझाने के कार्य को अधिक सुलभ बनाने के लिए चालक स्व० श्री रामकिशन फायर टेंडर को जलती हुई वैन से लगभग 10-12 फुट दूरी पर ले गए। अचानक ही कार में लगे एल०पी०जी० सिलेंडर में विस्फोट हो गया जिससे चालक श्री रामकिशन को गंभीर रूप से जख्मी हो गए और जख्मों के कारण बाद में अस्पताल में दम तोड़ दिया ।
इस प्रकार चालक श्री रामकिशन ने उत्कृष्ट वीरता, अदम्य साहस, व्यवसायिक कुशलता और उच्च कोटिकी कर्तव्य-परायणता का परिचय दिया।
यह पुरस्कार , वीरता के लिए राष्ट्रपति के अग्नि शमन सेवा पदक पुरस्कार को शासित करने वाले नियमों के नियम 3 ( i ) के तहत प्रदान किया जाता है और परिणामतः नियम 5 ( क ) के तहत अनुमेय विशेष भत्तादिनांक 04.03.2005 से इसके साथ देय होगा ।

10 सितंबर , 2004 को लगभग 13.28 बजे आग लगने की सूचना प्राप्त होने पर अग्नि शमन सेवा दल, अत्यधिक भीड़ - भाड़ वाले भीमनगर क्षेत्र , नांगलोई , दिल्ली में झुग्गी -झोंपड़ी में लगी आग को बुझाने के लिए घटना स्थल पर पहुंचा । आग सभी दिशाओं में बड़ी तेजी से फैल रही थी जिससे आसपास के क्षेत्र में जान- माल का खतरा हो रहा था। स्व० श्री जसबीर सिंह, फायरमैन अपनी जान की परवाह किए बगैर, जान- माल की रक्षा हेतु आग बुझाने के लिए खतरे वाले क्षेत्र में प्रवेश कर गए । इसी दौरान अचानक ही एक इलैक्ट्रिक ट्रांसमिशन लाईन टूट कर उनके ऊपर गिर गई और उन्हें बिजली का जबरदस्त झटका लगा । श्री जसबीर सिंह ने बाद में अस्पताल में दम तोड़ दिया ।
इस प्रकार श्री जसबीर सिंह , फायरमैन ने उत्कृष्ट वीरता, अदम्य साहस , व्यवसायिक कुशलता और उच्चकोटि की कर्तव्य- परायणता का परिचय दिया ।
यह पुरस्कार , वीरता के लिए राष्ट्रपति के अग्नि शमन सेवा पदक पुरस्कार को शासित करने वाले नियमों के नियम 3 ( 1 ) के तहत प्रदान किया जाता है और परिणामतः नियम 5 ( क) के तहत अनुमेय विशेष भत्ता दिनांक 10.09.2004 से इसके साथ देय होगा ।

जिस गोदाम में आग लगी थी वह गोदाम कीर्ति नगर, टिम्बर मार्केट में स्थित था जिससे सटे हुए कई टिम्बर गोदाम थे , जिनमें उसी प्रकार के अत्यन्त ज्वलनशील रसायन और लकड़ी इत्यादि भरी हुई थी । उप मुख्य अग्नि शमन अधिकारी ने आस - पास के भवनों पर आग को फैलने से रोकने के लिए और उत्पन्न हुई गर्मी के वेग को कम करने के लिए आग लगने के स्थान पर पानी की बौछार करना उचित समझा । उन्होंने 15-20 लोगों का एक कोर ग्रुप गठित किया और आग लगने के स्थान तक पहुंचने के लिए भवन के शटर को तोड़ दिया । गोदाम में प्रवेश करने पर और आग लगने के मूल स्थान पर कार्रवाई करते समय अन्दर की तरफ एक विस्फोट हुआ और सारा भवन ढह गया और जिसमें उपर उल्लिखित सभी अग्नि शमन कार्मिक फंस गए जिन्हें बाद में निकाल कर अस्पताल में दाखिल करवाया गया ।
इस घटना के दौरान सर्वश्री धर्मपाल भारद्वाज, सहायक मंडल अधिकारी, श्री दल सिंह, सहायक मंडल अधिकारी , श्री प्रेम सिंह दहिया, स्टेशन आफिसर , श्री नरेश कुमार, फायरमैन, श्री कृष्ण कुमार, फायरमैन, श्री राजेश मुदगिल , फायरमैन और श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार, फायरमैन ने अपनी सुरक्षा की परवाह किए बिना नागरिकों की जान एवं माल की सुरक्षा के लिए उत्कृष्ट वीरता , अदम्य साहस, नेतृत्व, व्यवसायिक कुशलता और उच्च कोटि की कर्तव्य- परायणता का परिचय दिया ।

17.12.2004 को लगभग 00.05 बजे खुर्दा नगरपालिका के तहत् आने वाले कोचिलकाना साही, गुरुजंगा में स्थित एक घर में आग लगने की सूचना प्राप्त होने पर स्टेशन आफिसर श्री रबिन्द्र कुमार स्बाइँ के नेतृत्व में खुर्दा अग्निशमन केन्द्र का अग्नि शमन सेवा दल घटना स्थल पर पहुंचा , जहां एक व्यक्ति जलते हुए भवन में फंसा हुआ था। श्री स्बाईं, अपनी जान की परवाह न करते हुए, अग्नि बचाव सूट महने बिना तत्काल ही भवन में प्रवेश कर गए तथा गंभीर रूप से जलने के बावजूद, फंसे हुए व्यक्ति को सही सलामत बाहर ले आए । इस प्रकार श्री रबिन्द्र कुमार स्वाइँ ने उत्कृष्ट वीरता, अदम्य साहस , नेतृत्व, व्यवसायिक कुशलता और उच्च कोटि की कर्तव्य-परायणता का प्रदर्शन किया ।

13.04.2005 को 20.30 बजे, गांव काजलकाना से बचाव के लिए बुलाने पर कटक अग्नि शमन स्टेशन से अग्नि शमन कार्मिक घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे जहां दो व्यक्ति एक 45 फीट गहरे , गैस से भरे हुए कुंए जिसका इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जा रहा था , में गिर गए थे । लीडिंग फायरमैन, श्री कैलाश चन्द्र प्रधान ने स्थिति की गंभीरता को भांपते हुए टेबल फैन का प्रयोग करते हुए काम चलाऊ उपायों द्वारा जहरीली गैस को उड़ाने की कोशिश की और उसके बाद अपनी व्यक्तिगत सुरक्षा की परवाह न करते हुए दो व्यक्तियों का जीवन बचाने के लिए कुंए में छलाग लगा दी और दोनों पीड़ितों को सफलतापूर्वक बाहर निकाल लिया जबकि वह स्वयं हानिकारक गैसों में श्वास लेने से अस्वस्थ हो गए । 205 भारत का राजपत्र, मार्च 11 , 2006 (फाल्गुन 20, 1927)

12.04.05 को लगभग 15.40 बजे, नुआपटना, चांदी साही, टिगीरिया से बचाव के लिए बुलाने पर तिगड़िया अग्नि शमन केंद्र का अग्नि शमन दल तत्काल वहां पहुंचा और घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर उन्होंने देखा कि एक व्यक्ति एक गहरे कुंए में गिर गया है। श्री बिक्रम कुमार बेहेरा, फायरमैन 1572 अपनी व्यक्तिगत सुरक्षा की परवाह न करते हुए पीड़ित को बचाने के लिए तेज गर्मी में तत्काल न्यूनतम ऑक्सीजन आपूर्ति वाले 20 फुट गहरे कुंए के भीतर गए। कुंए में ऑक्सीजन की कमी के कारण , श्री बेहेरा को श्वास की समस्या आरंभ हो गई और उनका दम घुटने लगा था । इसके बावजूद श्री बेहेरा ने फंसे हुए व्यक्ति को अपने कंधे पर उठाया और बेहोश होने से पहले उसे कुंए से सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला और फिर उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती करा दिया गया। इस प्रकार से श्री बिक्रम कुमार बेहेरा, फायरमैन ने उत्कृष्ट वीरता, अनुकरणीय साहस , व्यावसायिक कुशलता और उच्च कोटि की कर्त्तव्य परायणता का परिचय दिया ।

18.02.05 को लगभग 07.00 बजे डी. सं.3 ए वेंकट्टपा चेट्टी स्ट्रीट, शेवापेट, सलेम में एक बर्फ की फैक्ट्री में अमोनिया गैस रिसने के बारे में सूचना मिली । श्री थनगय्या डेविड विन्सेन्ट देवदास, मंडल अधिकारी अपने दल सहित तत्काल घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे। श्री थनगय्या डेविड विन्सेन्ट देवदास, मंडल अधिकारी , श्री सुब्रामणियम वेंकटाचलम, फायरमैन 6789 और श्री वेंकटाचलम पालागारा रामासामी फायरमैन 6124 ने किसी सुरक्षा उपकरण के बिना अमोनिया गैस गाद वाली बर्फ की फैक्ट्री के परिसर में प्रवेश किया और अपनी सुरक्षा की परवाह किए बिना जोखिमपूर्ण ढंग से, गैस की सघनता को कम करने के लिए केवल पानी का छिड़काव करके फंसे हुए पांच व्यक्तियों को बचा लिया। उन्होंने, इसके साथ - साथ दुर्घटना स्थल के ठीक पीछे स्थित सरकारी अस्पताल से उन 30 रोगियों को भी स्थानांतरित करने की व्यवस्था की जो अमोनिया गैस के अन्तः श्वसन के कारण मिचली और जलन से प्रभावित हो गए थे ।
इस घटना के दौरान सर्वश्री थनगय्या डेविड विन्सेन्ट देवदास, मंडल अधिकारी , सुब्रामणियम वेंकटाचलम, फायरमैन और वेंकटाचलम पालागारा रामासामी फायरमैन, ने उत्कृष्ट वीरता, अनुकरणीय साहस , व्यावसायिक कुशलता और उच्च कोटि की कर्त्तव्य परायणता का परिचय दिया।

पुनर्गठित अखिल भारतीय हस्तशिल्प बोर्ड में अब अध्यक्ष , 24 सरकारी सदस्य, सदस्य सचिव और 45 गैर- सरकारी सदस्य मिलाकर बोर्ड की कुल क्षमता 70 सदस्यों की होगी ।

केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्यपरिवहन संगठन, भारत सरकार की स्वास्थ्य परिवहन कार्यशाला के कर्मचारियों और संगठन का बेहतर उपयोग करने की दृष्टि से भारत सरकार ने श्री आर.सी. सिन्हा, कार्यकारी अधिकारी , राज्य सड़क परिवहन उपक्रम, नई दिल्ली की अध्यक्षता में दिनांक 19.7.1978 की संकल्प सं.टी. 11011/8 /78- टी.पी.टी. के तहत इस मामले की जांच और उस पर सिफारिशें देने के लिए एक समिति गठित की थी । इस समिति ने दिनांक 8.2.1978 को अपनी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत कर दी है ।
भारत सरकार ने इस समिति की सिफारिशें स्वीकार कर लीं थी और यह पहले ही निर्णय किया जा चुका था किकेन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य पविहन संगठन को 30 अप्रैल , 1982 के अपराह्न से दिनांक 31.5.1982 के संकल्प सं. ए. 11011 / 11 /81 -स्था. IV के तहत चरणवार ढंग से बंद कर दिया जाएगा ।
अब केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य परिवहन संगठन को 31.3.2006 ( अपराह्न) से अन्तिम रूप से बंद करने का निर्णय लिया गयाहै ।

A massive earthquake of 9.2 on Richter scale followed by disastrous Tsunami struck the Islands at 0620 hours on 26.12.2004 . The magnitude of killer waves were so lethal that left a trail of thousands dead and the destruction was unprecedented in the history of these Islands .
Shri Venkateswaran HG/491 who was on his way to Police Station for duty , saw that an old lady (Pechiamma w/ o Kannan R/ o Katchal ) was stuck in the high tidal waves and he rescued her from the waves risking his own life and brought her to safer place .
Shri Venkateswaran thus displayed conspicuous gallantry , exemplary courage , professional exertise and devotion to duty of a very high order .

A devastating fire broke out on 31st December , 2004 night in a wood godown located at A - 117 , W.H.S. , Kirti Nagar , Lakkar Mandi , Delhi . Entire godwon comprising of basement, ground and upper three floors were fully stocked with wooden furniture and huge stocks of chemicals including highly inflammable varnishes . The wind was moderately high and flames were leaping out from each floor in all directions through the window openings . On receipt of the fire call at 0528 hrs , Fire Service turned out with fire tenders under the command of Deputy Chief Fire Officer , Shri Surinder Kumar .
Apprehending the possibility of fire spreading in the other adjoining godowns , Shri Surinder Kumar , Deputy Chief Fire Officer decided to stop spreading of fire by spraying water to the surrounding of the affected building and simultaneously to attack the seat of fire for minimizing the intensity of heat generated . He formed a core group of 15-20 persons and broke open the shutter door of the building to gain access . On entering the godown , and while attacking the core area of fire , suddenly implosion took place resulting caving in of all super structure , trapping all the fire service personnel as mentioned above including Deputy Chief Fire Officer Late Shri Surinder Kumar who were subsequently charred to death on the spot or succumbed to the injuries in hospital .

On fateful night of 4th March , 2005 at about 17.34 hrs , on receipt of a call about a fire in a LPG operated Maruti Van near Malai Mandir , Sector -8 , R.K. Puram, New Delhi , Fire Service turned out and on reaching the spot started fire fighting operation . For the sake of convenience of fire fighting , Driver late Shri Ramkishan moved the fire tender within 10-12ft . away from the burning van . Suddenly the LPG cylinder contained in the car violently exploded causing severe injuries to Shri Ramkishan , Driver who later on succumbed to his injuries in the hospital .
Shri Ramkishan , Driver , thus , displayed conspicuous gallantry, exemplary courage , professional expertise and devotion to duty of the highest order .

On fateful day of 10th September, 2004 at about 13.28 hrs on receipt of a fire call , Fire Service turned out to encounter a Jhuggi Jhopdi fire in the congested Bhim Nagar area , Nangloi , Delhi . The fire was spreading very fast in all directions endangering the nearby population and property. Late Shri Jasbir Singh , Fireman ignoring his personal safety entered into the endangered zone for fighting the fire to save life and property . While doing so , suddenly the overhead electrical transmission line collapsed and fell on him causing electrocution . Shri Jasbir Singh subsequently succumbed to injury in the hospital .
Shri Jasbir Singh , Fireman , thus , displayed conspicuous gallantry , exemplary courage , professional expertise and devotion to duty of the highest order .

The godown where the fire broke out was located in Kirti Nagar , Timber Market which had several other adjoining timber godowns containing similar highly flammable chemicals , wood , etc. The Deputy Chief Fire Officer thought it proper to tackle the spread of fire simultaneously by spraying water to surrounding buildings , at the same time to attacking the seat of fire to minimize the intensity of heat generated . He formed a core group of 15-20 people and broke open the shutter of the building to gain access to the seat of fire . On entering the godown and while attacking the core area of fire , suddenly implosion took place causing complete collapse of and the whole super structure trapping all the fire service personnel as mentioned above who were subsequently rescued and hospitalized .
In this incident S/ Shri Dharampal Bhardwaj , Assistant Divisional Officer , Dal Singh , Assistant Divisional Officer , Prem Singh Dahiya , Station Officer , Naresh Kumar , Fireman , Krishan Kumar , Fireman , Rajesh Mudgil , Fireman and Surender Kumarm, Fireman displayed conspicuous gallantry , exemplary courage , leadership, professional expertise and devotion to duty of the highest order for the safety of life and properties of the citizens ignoring their own safety .

On 17.12 . 2004 at about 00.05 hrs , on receipt of a fire call from a house at Kochilakana Sahi , Gurujanga under Khurda Municipality, Fire Service crew of Khurda Fire Station under the leadership of Station Officer Shri Rabindra Kumar Swain rushed to the spot where a person was trapped in the burning building . Shri Swain ignoring his personal safety immediately entered the burning building without the help of fire protection suits and brought the trapped victim out to safety after sustaining severe burn injuries on his person .
Shri Rabindra Kumar Swain, Station Officer , thus , displayed conspicuous gallantry , exemplary courage , leadership , professional expertise and devotion to duty of a very high order .

On 13.04.2005 at 20.30 hrs , on receipt of a rescue call , Fire Service from Cuttack Fire Station reached at village Kajalakana where two persons had fallen inside a 45ft . deep gas filled unused well . Leading Fireman , Shri Kailash Chandra Pradhan considering the gravity of situation attempted to blew away the poisonous gas by an improvised means using Table Fan and then jumped into the well to save the life of two person , ignoring his personal safety and successfully extricated both the victims while he himself became indisposed by inhaling obnoxious gases .
Shri Kailash Chandra Pradhan , Leading Fireman , thus displayed conspicuous gallantry, exemplary courage , professional expertise and devotion to duty of a very high order .

On 12.04.05 at about 15.40 hrs , on receipt of a rescue call from Nuapatna , Chandi Sahi , Tigiria. Fire crew of Tigiria Fire Station immediately turned out and on reaching the spot , found one person had fallen in a deep well . Shri Bikram Kumar Behera, Fireman - 1572 ignoring his personal safety , immediately entered the 20ft . deep well with minimum oxygen supply, under scorching heat to rescue the victim . Due to poor supply of oxygen inside the well , Shri Behera started facing respiratory problem and was about to be choked . In spite of that Shri Behera lifted that trapped person on his shoulder and brought him out of the well safely before he was fainted and hospitalized .
Shri Bikram Kumar Behera , Fireman , thus , displayed conspicuous gallantry , exemplary courage , professional expertise and devotion to duty of a very high order.

Venkatachalam Palagara Ramasamy , Fireman 6124 without any protective appliances , entered the premises of the Ammonia Gas silted ice factory and rescued five trapped persons simply by spraying water to minimize the density of gas in a very risky way endangering their own personal safety . They also simultaneously arranged for shifting of 30 patients from the government hospital located right behind the site of accident who were severely suffering from nausea and irritation due to inhalation of ammonia gas .
In this incident S/ Shri Thangaiah David Vincent Devadass , Divisional Officer , Subramaniyam Venkatachalam , Fireman and Venkatachalam Palagara Ramasamy , Fireman , displayed conspicuous gallantry , exemplary courage , leadership , professional expertise and devotion to duty of a very high order .

The Govt of India has also decided to induct Shri Rajendra Prasad Singh , S- 20/51B -2 , Cant Mall Road , Budhu Vihar colony, Varanasi ( U.P. ) as new non official member in the All India Handicraft Board while retaining all officials and non Official members of the existing All India handicraft Board constituted vide resolutions dated 10.12.2004, 10.2.2005, 16.3.2005 , 1.4.2005 and 25.1.2006 .
Thepresent strength of the board shall be 70 members comprising of Chairman , 24 official members , Member Secretary and 45 Non -Official members , in the re- constituted All India Handicrafts Board .
All other terms & conditions recorded in the resolution dated 10.12.2004 will however remain same & uncharged.

RESOLUTION
With a view to optimally utilsing the staff and Organisation of the Health Transport Workshop of the Central Health Transport Organisation , Government of India had set up a Committee under the Chairmanship of Shri R.C. Sinha, Executive Officer, Association of States Road Transport Undertaking , New Delhi , to examine the matter and make recommendations thereon, vide Resolution No.T.11011 /8 /78 -TPT dated 19/7/1978 . The Committee submitted its report on 8/2/1979 .
The recommendation of the Committee had been accepted by the Government of India , and it had already been decided that the Central Health Transport Organization shall be wound up with effect from the afternoon of 30th April , 1982 vide Resolution No.A.11011/ 11 / 81 -Estt.IV dated 31/5/1982, in a phased manner .
It has now been decided to wound up finally Central Health Transport Organisation with effect from 31/3/2006(Afternoon)
