इस मंत्रालय के दिनांक 7 अगस्त , 2004 के समसंख्यक संकल्प के क्रम में श्री एस.एस. आहलुवालिया का राज्य सभा का कार्यकाल समाप्त हो जाने के परिणामस्वरूप वे दिनांक 2 अप्रैल , 2006 से राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक शिक्षा अनुवीक्षण समिति के सदस्य नहीं रहे हैं ।
2. राज्य सभा के सदस्य के रूप में श्री एस.एस. आहलुवालिया के पुनः चुने जाने के कारण भारत सरकार उन्हें दिनांक 21.5.2006 से राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक शिक्षा अनुवीक्षण समिति का सदस्य नियुक्त करती है ।
3. अलग से अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्रालय बनाए जाने के परिणामस्वरूप इस मंत्रालय के सचिव , भारत सरकार भी तत्काल प्रभाव से राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक शिक्षा मॉनीटरिंग समिति के पदेन सदस्य नियुक्त किए जाते हैं ।
आदेश
आदेश दिया जाता है कि समिति के अध्यक्ष तथा अन्य सदस्यों को इस संकल्प की एक- एक प्रति भेज दी जाए ।
यह भी आदेश दिया जाता है कि भारत के राजपत्र में आम सूचनार्थ इसे प्रकाशित करवाया जाए ।

RESOLUTION
No. F.9-7/2002 - MC (L ) .-
In contituation of this Ministry's Resolution of even number dated the 7th August , 2004 , consequent on the expiry of his membership of Rajya Sabha , Shri S.S. Ahluwalia ceased to be a member of the National Monitoring Committee for Minorities Education w.e.f. 2nd April , 2006 .
2. The Government of India is pleased to nominate Shri S.S. Ahluwalia , M.P. ( Rajya Sabha ) as a member of the National Monitoring Committee for Minorities Education w.e.f. 21.5.2006 consequent on his re- election as Member of the Sabha .
3. Consequent on the creation of the Ministry of Minority Affairs , Secretary to Government of India in that Ministry is also nominated as Ex - officio Member of the National Monitoring Committee for Minorities Education with immediate effect .
ORDER
Ordered that a copy of the resolution be communicated to the Chairman and other members of the Committee .
Ordered also that the resolution be published in the Gazette of India for general information.
