* विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम , 1956 की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार , विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की सलाह पर, कलसलिंगम अकादमी ऑफ ऐजूकेशन एन्ड रिसर्च , आनंद नगर, कृष्णाकोइल , विरुद्धनगर , तमिलनाडु जो कि इस समय अरुलमिगू कलसलिंगम कॉलिज ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग , आनंद नगर , कृष्णाकोइल , विरुद्धनगर , तमिलनाडु के रूप में चल रहा है, को एतद् द्वारा अस्थाई रूप से 5 वर्षों की अवधि के लिये उपर्युक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनार्थ , तत्काल प्रभाव से सम विश्वविद्यालय के रूप में घोषित करती है । 5 वर्षों के पश्चात विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की एक विशेषझ समिति की सहायता से इस अकादमी का पुनरीक्षण किया जायेगा ।
(2) यह घोषणा इस अधिसूचना के पृष्ठांकन की क्रम संख्या 5 में उल्लिखित शर्तों के अधीन है ।
(3) भारत सरकार अथवा विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग कलसलिंगम अकादमी ऑफ ऐजूकेशन एन्ड रिसर्च, आनंद नगर , कृष्णाकोइल , विरुद्धनगर , तमिलनाडु को कोई योजनागत या योजनेतर अनुदान प्रदान नहीं करेंगे ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, the Central Government, on the advice of the University Grants Commission, hereby declare Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Anand Nagar , Krishnankoil , Virudhunagar , Tamil Nadu presently functioning as Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering, Anand Nagar, Krishnankoil , Virudhunagar , Tamil Nadu as a Deemed to be University for the purposes of the aforesaid Act with immediate effect provisionally for a period of 5 years. After 5 years , the Academy would be reviewed with the help of an Expert Committee of the University Grants Commission.
2. This declaration is subject to conditions mentioned at S. No. 5 of the endorsement of this notification.
3. Government of India or the University Grants Commission will not provide any Plan or Non Plan grants to Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Anand Nagar, Krishnankoil, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu.
