2. यह तदर्थ नियुक्ति किसी भी अधिकारी को वरिष्ठ अनुसंधान अधिकारी के ग्रेड में नियमित नियुक्ति हेतु किसी दावे को प्रदान नहीं करेगी और उनमें से किसी के द्वारा वरिष्ठ अनुसंधान अधिकरी के ग्रेड में तदर्थ आधार पर की गई कोई सेवा न तो वरिष्ठ अनुसंधान अधिकार के ग्रेड में वरिष्ठता के उद्देश्य हेतु और न ही अगले उच्च ग्रेड में पदोन्नति के लिए अर्हता हेतु गिनी जाएगी ।
