दिनांक 8 फरवरी , 2005 के संकल्प सं. क्यू/हिंदी/ 621 /88/98 में आंशिक संशोधन करते हुए विदेश मंत्रालय की हिंदी सलाहकार समिति के सदस्य के रूप में श्री नवीन जिंदल, संसद सदस्य (लोक सभा) और श्रीमती कमला मनहर, संसद सदस्य ( राज्य सभा) के स्थान पर क्रमशः कुंवर मानवेन्द्र सिंह, संसद सदस्य(लोक सभा) और श्री द्विजेन्द्र नाथ शर्मा, संसद सदस्य(राज्य सभा) को नामित किया जाता है । विदेश मंत्रालय द्वारा नामित दो गैर- सरकारी सदस्यों, श्री हिमांशु जोशी और डा० वेद प्रताप वैदिक के स्थान पर श्री अलोक मेहता और श्री बाल कवि बैरागी को विदेश मंत्रालय की हिंदी सलाहकार समिति की शेष अवधि के लिए नामित किया जाता है । समिति के कार्य , कार्य क्षेत्र और कार्यकाल यथावत रहेंगे ।

आदेश दिया जाता है कि इस संकल्प की एक- एक प्रति निम्नलिखित को प्रेषित की जाएः

विषय : विश्व- स्मृति कार्यक्रम हेतु भारतीय राष्ट्रीय समिति।

संस्कृति मंत्रालय और इसके विविध संगठन, सांस्कृतिक अभिव्यक्तियों के विविध रूपों के संरक्षण और प्रसार में संलग्न हैं । संस्कृति मंत्रालय इंडियन नेशनल कमीशन फॉर को-ऑपरेशन विद यूनेस्को के माध्यम से यूनेस्को के साथ भी संपर्क स्थापित करता है और देश की दस्तावेजी विरासत की सुरक्षा के लिए विश्व-स्मृति रजिस्टर में शामिल करने हेतु विचार करने के लिए मामलों को सिफारिश करता है । अन्तरराष्ट्रीय रजिस्टर हेतु प्रस्तावों पर विचार करने और उन्हें नामित करने के उद्देश्य से, विश्व-स्मृति कार्यक्रम के लिए निम्नलिखित व्यक्तियों को शामिल करते हुए भारतीय राष्ट्रीय समिति का गठन करने का निर्णय लिया गया है:-

In partial modification of Resolution No. Q/Hindi /621 / 88 / 98 , dated 8 Feb. 2005 , Shri Kunwar Manvendra Singh , MP (Lok Sabha) and Shri Dwijendra Nath Sharma, MP ( Rajya Sabha) are nominated as members of the Hindi Salahakar Samiti of the Ministry of External Affairs in place of Shri Naveen Jindal , MP ( Lok Sabha) and Smt . Kamla Manhar , MP (Rajya Sabha) respectively. Shri Alok Mehta and Shri . Balkavi Bairagi are nominated as non official members of the Hindi Salahakar Samiti of the Ministry of External Affairs in place of Shri Himanshu Joshi and Dr. Ved Pratap Vaidik for the remaining term of the Committee . The functions , jurisdiction and tenure of the Committee will remain unchanged.

RESOLUTION
Subject: Indian National Committee for the Memory of the World Programme .
No. F - 2-79/2006 - UNESCO-
Ministry of Culture and its various organizations have been engaged in the preservation and dissemination of the various forms of cultural expressions . Ministry of Culture also interacts with UNESCO through Indian National Commission for Co- operation with UNESCO and recommend cases for consideration for inclusion in the Memory of theWorld Register for Safeguarding of the Documentary Heritage of the Country. With the objective to consider and nominate the proposals for the International register , it has been decided to set- up Indian National Committee for the Memory of the World Programme comprising the following: -

[PART I- SEC . 1 The Activities of the Indian National Committee for the Memory of the World Programme will include initiating and/or and supporting nominations for the international register , together with publicity, promotion and awareness raising , and evolving cooperation with Government, professional associations and custodial institutions at the national level .
The Committee shall have the powers to co - opt the Members for the Committee
ORDERED that the Resolution be published in the Gazette of India for general information .
ORDERED also that a copy of the resolution be communicated to all the Ministries and Departments of the Government of India .
