( ए) विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम , 1956 की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा दिनांक 26.4.96 व 28.7.2000 की अधिसूचना सं. एफ. 9-15/95 - यू.3 , दिनांक 19.8.2004 की अधिसूचना सं. एफ. 9-7/04- यू.3 , तथा दिनांक 25.2.05 की अधिसूचना सं. एफ.9-16/2004 - यू.3 के अनुक्रम मेंकेन्द्र सरकार विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की सलाह पर उक्त अधिनियम के उद्देश्यार्थ निम्नलिखित दो संस्थाओं को उनके द्वारा अपने को इस समय सम्बद्धन प्रदान करने वाला विश्वविद्यालय अर्थात् गुरू गोविन्द सिंह इन्द्रप्रस्थ विश्वविद्यालय , कश्मीरी गेट दिल्ली से असम्बद्ध कराने की तिथि से उक्त अधिनियम के उद्देश्यार्थ संघटक संस्थाओं के रूप में " भारती विद्यापीठ " सम विश्वविद्यालय , पूणे के अधिकार क्षेत्र में शामिल करने की घोषणा करती है :
(i ) भारतीय विद्यापीठ कम्प्यूटर अनुप्रयोग एवं प्रबंध संस्थान, नई दिल्ली; और
( ii ) भारतीय विद्यापीठ इंजीनियरी कालेज, नई दिल्ली । (iii) अवधारणाओं, परिभाषाओं, मूल्य संग्रहण की पद्धतियों तथा उपभोक्तामूल्य के समेकन, थोक, खुदरा , उत्पादकों और प्रत्येक प्रकार के सूचकांकों हेतु समुचित भारण की पद्धतियों सहित तुलनीय मंहगापन सूचकांकों तथा अन्य मूल्य सूचकांकों का सुधार तथा मानकीकरण;

समितिके कार्य
समिति का कार्य, केन्द्रीय हिन्दी समिति और राजभाषा विभाग , गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा सरकारी कामकाज के लिए हिन्दी के प्रयोग के संबंध में निर्धारित नीतियों के अनुसार, सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय तथा इसके सम्बद्ध/ अधीनस्थ कार्यालयों /निगमों/बोर्डों/माध्यम एककों, आदि के कामकाज में हिन्दी के उत्तरोत्तर प्रयोग के बारे में स्थिति की समीक्षा करना और उपयुक्त सलाह देना होगा ।
कार्यकाल
समितिके सदस्यों का कार्यकाल सामान्यतः इसके गठन की तारीख से तीन वर्ष होगा , बशर्ते कि :-
1. जो संसद सदस्य समिति के सदस्य हैं , वे संसद सदस्य न रहने पर, इस समिति के सदस्य नहीं रह सकेंगे ।
2. समितिके पदेन सदस्य अपने पद पर कार्य करते रहने तक समिति के सदस्यहोंगे , और
3. यदि किसी सदस्य की मृत्यु हो जाने के कारण अथवा समिति की सदस्यता से त्यागपत्र देने के कारण स्थान रिक्त होता है तो उस स्थान पर नियुक्त सदस्य तीन वर्ष के कार्यकाल की शेष अवधि के लिए ही सदस्य होगा ।
सामान्य
1. समिति का मुख्यालय नई दिल्ली में होगा किन्तु समिति अपनी बैठकें किसी अन्य स्थान पर भी कर सकेगी ।
2. समिति की बैठकों में भाग लेने के लिए गैर - सरकारी सदस्यों को राजभाषा विभाग के दिनांक 22 जनवरी , 1987 के कार्यालय ज्ञापन संख्या II/20034/4/86- रा. भा. 2. The representatives of the State Governments, the academic field and the employee(s) trade unions /employer (s ) organisations will serve on the Committee for a period of two yearswith effect from 7th February, 2007 .
3. The terms of reference of the reconstituted Committee are as under:-
(1) Examination ofproposals for the conduct of Family Budget Enquires by Central Government , State Governments andUnion Territory Administrations ;

( ii) Examination of schemes prepared by the Central Government, State Governments and Union Territory Administrations for the construction of consumer price, wholesale , retail , producers ', comparative costliness indices, other price indices and special problems connected therewith, including problems concerning All- India and State Level indices;
(iii) Improvement and standardization of the concepts , definitions , methods of price collection and compilation of consumer price , wholesale , retail , producers' , comparative costliness indices and other price indices , including methods ofappropriate weighting for each type of indices;
(iv) Review of organizational arrangements and the machinery for price collection with a view to rationalizing and developing an integrated system of collection, compilation and dissemination of price statistics .
4. Secretarial assistance to the Committee will be provided by the Central Statistical Organisation , Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation.
5. The expenditure of the official members on TA/DA for attending the meetings of the Committee will be borne by the parent Ministries/Departments / Organizations to which they belong.
6.Non-Official members mentioned at Sl . Nos . 16, 17,18 and 19 will be paid TA/ DA/ conveyance allowance as admissible to the non-official members for attending meetings as per instructions contained in para 1 ( ii) of Office Memorandum No.19020/1/84- E.IV dated 23rd June 1986 ofthe Department of Expenditure , Ministry of Finance as amended and clarified from time to time .
7. The expenditure on account of payment of TA/DA to the non - officials at Sl . Nos . 16, 17,18 and 19 of para 1 above , willbe met out of the budget provision under the component PlanScheme " Development of CPI series , separately for Urban and Rural Population at National level " .
8. This issues with the concurrence of Financial Adviser (Statistics) vide Budget & Finance Section Dy. No. 1410/B & F dated 22.09.2006.

3. If a vacancy arises in the Committee due to resignation or death of a member , the appointee to that vacancy shall hold office for the residual period of the tenure of three years .
GENERAL
Hindi for official purpose in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and its Attached/ Subordinate Offices/ Corporations/Boards /Media units etc. in accordance with the policies laid down by the Kendriya Hindi Samiti and the Department of Official Language ( Ministry of Home Affairs) on the subject.
TENURE
1. The Headquarter of the Committee shall be at New Delhi but it may hold its meeting at any other place also.
The tenure of members of the Committee will ordinarily be three years from the date of constitution of the Committee provided:-
1. Members of the Parliament, who are members of the Committee shall cease to be members of the Committee as soon as they cease to be members of Parliament,
2. Non-official members of the Committee will be paid travelling allowance and daily allowance for attending the meeting of the Committee at the rates prescribed as per O.M. No. II/20034/4/ 86-O.L. (A - 2) dated 22.1.1987 of Department of Official Language and in accordance with the prescribed rates and rules as amended from time to time by the Government of India .
2. The ex-officio members of the Committee shall continue members so long as they hold office by virtue of which they are members of the Committee and,
