विषय : " इस्पात उपभोक्ता परिषद्" के गठन के बारे में ।
सं. 5 (3 ) 2004 - डी- I (. )-इस्पात मंत्रालय ने अपने दिनांक 20 नवम्बर 2006 के संकल्प संख्या 5 ( 3 ) 2004 - डी- I के माध्यम से दिनांक 24 मार्च, 2006 के समसंख्यक संकल्प के अनुसार पुनर्गठित इस्पात उपभोक्ता परिषद् के कार्यकाल को बढ़ा दिया है । इस्पात मंत्रालय के दिनांक 24 मार्च, 2006 के संकल्प के पैरा संख्या के तहत् " इस्पात उपभोक्ता परिषद्" संघ शासित प्रदेश दादर एवं नगर हवेली के प्रतिनिधि के रूप में निम्नलिखित व्यक्ति को एतद्वारा नामित किया जाता है :--

सं. एफ. 9-4/1999 -यू.3 जबकि " भारतीय सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान " , इलाहाबाद को विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत् इस मंत्रालय की दिनांक 4 अगस्त, 2000 की समसंख्यक अद्धिधसूचना के द्वारा पांच वर्ष की अवधि के पश्चात् समीक्षा की शर्त के आधार पर ' सम विश्वविद्यालय ' घोषित किया गया था;
2. और जबकि विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग ने ' भारतीय सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान', इलाहाबाद के कार्यकरण की समीक्षा के लिए गठित विशेषज्ञ समिति के माध्यम से इसकी समीक्षा कराई है;
3. और जबकि विशेषज्ञ समिति की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग ने ' भारतीय सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान', इलाहाबाद को प्रदत्त ' सम-विश्वविद्यालय ' का दर्जा 5 वर्ष की अवधि के लिए जारी रखने हेतु अनुमोदन प्रदान कर दिया है ।
4. इसलिए, विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत् प्राप्त अधिकारों का उपयोग करते हुए और इस संबंध में विश्वविधालय अनुदान आयोग की सलाह पर केन्द्र सरकार ' भारतीय सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान', इलाहाबाद को प्रदत्त ' सम विश्वविद्यालय ' का दर्जा पांच वर्ष की अवधि के लिए जारी रखने का अनुमोदन प्रदान करती है, बशर्ते विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग एक विशेषज्ञ समिति की सहायता से एक ' समीक्षा ' के आधार पर उपर्युक्त दर्जे की पुष्टि करेगा और यह समीक्षा ' सम विश्वविद्यालय ' दर्जे की वर्तमान अवधि समाप्त होने से पहले ही कराई जाएगी । 5. उपर्युक्त पैरा 4 में दर्जा जारी रखने की अनुमति उन शर्तों के भी अधीन होगी जो इस अधिसूचना के पृष्ठांकन की क्रम सं. 4 में उल्लिखित हैं।

No. 5 ( 3 )/2004-D- I (. ) Ministry of Steel through its Resolution No. 5( 3 )/2004- DI dated 20th November , 2006 has extended the terms of Steel Consumer Council reconsituted vide its Resolution of even number dated 24th March , 2006. Whereas the " Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) " , Allahabad was declared a ' Deemed- to- be - University ' under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC ) Act , 1956 vide this Ministry's notification of even number dated the 4th August, 2000 subject to a review after five years;
2. And whereas ; the UGC has reviewed the functioning of the " IIIT " , Allahabad through an Expert Committee constituted for this purpose;
3. And, whereas, on the basis of the report of the Expert- Committee , the UGC has recommended continuation of the status of ' Deemed- to - be- University' to " IIIT " , Allahabad for a further period of five years;
4. Now, therefore, the Central Government , in exercise of the powers conferredby Section 3 of the UGC Act , 1956 , and on the advice of the UGC in the matter , do hereby accord approval to the continuance of the status of ' Deemed- to-be- University ' granted to "Indian Institute of Information Technology ( IIIT) " , Allahabad , for a further period of fiveyears , subject to the condition that the said status shall be confirmed on the basis of a ' review' to be conducted by the UGC with the help of an Expert Committee well in advance , before the period of the continued status being allowed now comes to an end .
5. The continuance of the status allowed as in paragraph 4 above shall be subject to further conditions that are mentioned at Sl. No. 4 of the endorsement of this notification .
