सा.का.नि. 48 - राष्ट्रपति , संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए पोत -परिवहन , सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय , नौवहन महानिदेशालय में मुख्य पोत- सर्वेक्षक संयुक्त महानिदेशक ( तकनीकी ) , समूह ' क ' पद भर्ती नियम, 2007 में संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा , निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं , अर्थात्:-
1. इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम पोत परिवहन, सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय , नौवहन महानिदेशालय में मुख्य पोत- सर्वेक्षक संयुक्त महानिदेशक ( तकनीकी ) , समूह ' क' पद भर्ती ( संशोधन ) नियम , 2008 है ।
2. पोत- परिवहन, सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय , नौवहन महानिदेशालय में मुख्य पोत सर्वेक्षक संयुक्त महानिदेशक (तकनीकी ) , समूह ' क ' पद भर्ती नियम, 2007 की अनुसूची में टिप्पणी 3 के कॉलम 12 में निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित होंगे , अर्थात्:-
"टिप्पणी 3 : प्रतिनियुक्ति की अवधि ( जिसके अंतर्गत अल्पकालिक संविदा भी है ) जिसके अंतर्गत केन्द्रीय सरकार के उसी या किसी अन्य संगठन/विभाग में इस नियुक्ति से ठीक पहले धारित किसी अन्य काडर बाह्य पद पर प्रतिनियुक्ति की अवधि ( जिसके अंतर्गत अल्पकालिक

संविदा भी है ) साधारणतया तीन वर्ष से अधिक नहीं होगी । प्रतिनियुक्ति पर नियुक्ति (जिसके अंतर्गत अल्पकालिक संविदा भी है ) के लिए अधिकतम आयु सीमा आवेदन प्राप्त करने की अंतिम तारीख को 56 वर्ष से अधिक नहीं होगी । "

G.S.R. 48. In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways , Directorate General of Shipping Chief Ship- Surveyor -cum-Joint Director General (Technical) , Group ' A ' Post Recruitment Rules , 2007 , namely:-
1. These rules may be called the Ministry of Shipping , Road Transport and Highways , Directorate General of Shipping , Chief Ship-Surveyor- cum-Joint Director General (Technical ) , Group ' A ' Post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2008 .
2. In the Schedule to the Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways , Directorate General of Shipping, ChiefShip- Surveyor -cum -Joint Director General (Technical ), Group ' A ' Post Recruitment Rules , 2007, in column 12, for Note 3 , the following notes shall be substituted , namely :-
"Note 3 : Period ofdeputation (including short- term -contract) including period of deputation in another ex- cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or Department of the Central Governinent shall ordinarily not exceed three years . The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short- term contract) shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application .'
