और जबकि, उक्त श्री के. सी. रेड्डी, आई.पी.एस. ने उक्त ज्ञापन का उत्तर नहीं दिया । श्री रेड्डी को बार- वार अनुस्मारक भेजा गया तथा 24.08.2007 को उन्हें ' ई - मेल' के माध्यम से एक दूसरा पत्र भेजा गयाः जिसका उन्होंने उत्तर दिया था । उक्त श्री रेड्डी ने सूचित किया कि वे संयुक्त राष्ट्र में बने रहना पसंद करेंगे तथा उन्होंने प्रतिनियुक्ति की अवधि को 31.12.2008 , अर्थात् भारतीय पुलिस सेवा से अपनी अधिवर्षिता की तारीख तक बढ़ाने का अनुरोध किया;

प्रयोजनार्थ उनकी नियुक्ति 01.07.2001 से प्रभावी मानी जाती है। तथापि, वेतन और भत्तों की बकाया राशि उन्हें कार्मिक और प्रशिक्षण विभाग द्वारा केन्द्रीय तौर पर आदेशित तदर्थ आधार पर अवर सचिव के रूप में उनकी वास्तविक नियुक्ति की तारीख से दी जाएगी ।

3. यह एफआर-22 के अधीन दिए गए उपबन्धों के अनुसार अपने वेतन के निर्धारण के लिए विकल्प का चुनाव करने के हकदार भी होंगे । तथापि, यदि अधिकारी , उपर्युक्त चयन सूची वर्ष से पहले तदर्थ अवर सचिव के रूप में प्रोन्नत किया गया था और उसने लाभ विकल्प का लाभ उठाया था तो यह पुनः इस विकल्प का प्रयोग करने के लिए पात्र नहीं होगा।

His deputation to the said post was extended from time to time and the last extension was allowed upto 31.01.2002. His request for further extension of his deputation with UN was not acceded to and he was advised on 17.12.2003 to report back to his parent cadre i.e. Indian Police Service in the Assam/Meghalaya Cadre forthwith .
