सं, एफ. 11011/5/2004. हि.का.क. आर्थिक कार्य विभाग ( बैंकिंग ष बीमा सहित) की हिन्दी सलाहकार समिति के पुनर्गठन के संबंध में इस विभाग के दिनांक 22 नवम्बर, 2005 के समसंख्यक संकल्प में आंशिक संशोधन करते हुए, भारत सरकार ने उक्त समिति की संरचना में निम्नानुसार परिवर्तन करने का निर्णय लिया है : --
' अन्य गैर सरकारी सदस्य' कॉलम में , क्रम सं . 9 मैं, " श्री रमेश चन्द्र जोशी " के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाए :

उक्त संकल्प की अन्य सभी शर्तें अपरिवर्तित रहेंगी ।

आदेश दिया जाता है कि इस संकल्प की एक प्रति सभी संबंधितों को प्रेषित की जाए तथा इसे भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित किया जाए । 3. पुनर्गठित बोर्ड के सदस्य दिनांक 24.6.2010 तक बोर्ड में बने रहेंगे ।

सं. ई. 11014/1/2008-हिन्दी-इस विभाग के दिनांक 23 जून , 2005 के संकल्प सं. ई. 11014/1/2004 के तहत पुनर्गठित की गई रसायन और उर्वरक मंत्रालय की हिन्दी सलाहकार समिति का कार्यकाल समाप्त हो जाने के परिणामस्वरूप भारत सरकार ने समिति का कार्यकाल एक वर्ष अर्थात् 22 जून , 2009 तक बढ़ाने का निर्णय लिया है। समिति का गठन और कार्य आदि अपरिवर्तित रहेंगे ।

2. और जबकि क्राईस्ट कालेज ( स्वायत्त ) , बंगलौर, कर्नाटक से जून, 2007 में एक आदेषदन पत्र प्राप्त हुआ था जिसमें विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के अंतर्गत सम विश्वविद्यालय का दर्जा देने का अनुरोध किया गया है ।

3. और जबकि विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग ने उक्त प्रस्ताव की जांच की है और अपने दिनांक 1 जनवरी , 2008 के पत्र सं. एफ. 26-12/2007 ( सीपीपी 1 ) के द्वारा क्राईस्ट कालेज, बंगलौर को निम्नलिखित कार्यक्रमों हेतु पांच वर्ष की अवधि के लिए 'सम-विश्वविद्यालय ' का दर्जा प्रदान करने की सिफारिश की है :
विषय : भारतीय प्रबंध संस्थानों के कार्यकरण की समीक्षा के लिए एक समिति की नियुक्ति के संबंध में दिनांक 17.10.2007 तथा 23.05.2008 के मंकल्पों में संशोधन ।
( i ) कला, विज्ञान , वाणिज्य
( ii ) प्रबंधन, एमसीए तथा होटल मैनेजमेंट, पीजीडीएम
(iii ) विधि
(iv) शिक्षा
सं. 8-15/2007 - टी.. एस. भारतीय प्रबंध संस्थानों के कार्यकरण की समीक्षा के लिए एक समिति की नियुक्ति के संबंध में इस मंत्रालय के दिर्शक 23.05.2008 के समसंख्यक संकल्प के अनुसरण में इस मंत्रालय के दिनांक 17.10.2007 के समर्मख्यक संकल्प के पेरा 4 में यह संशोधन किया जाता है हि यह समिति दिनांक 17.10.2007 को जारी संकल्प को तारीख से छः माह की अवधि के स्थान पर एक वर्ष की अवधि के अंटर सरकार को अपनी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करेगी ।

आदेश दिया जाता है कि संशोधन की एक प्रति सामान्य सूचना हेतु भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित किया जाए ।
4. अतः अब विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 द्वारा दी गई शक्तियों का उपयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की सलाह पर एतद्वारा कर्नाटक, बंगलौर में स्थित क्राईस्ट कालेज को इसके सम्बद्धन विश्वविद्यालय नामतः बंगलौर विश्वविद्यालय से असम्बद्धन की तारीख से पांच वर्षों के लिए निम्नलिखित पाठ्यक्रमों हेतु उपर्युक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनार्थ " सम विश्वविद्यालय " के रूप में घोषित करती है, तथापि विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग विशेषज्ञ समिति की सहायता से प्रत्येक वर्ष के अंत में समीक्षा करंगां:-

2. And whereas, an application was received in June. 2007 from Christ College (Autonomous ) , Bangalore , Karnataka seeking status of Deemed to-be -University under Section 3 of the UGC Act , 1956;

bearing No. 26-12/2007 ( CPP - 1 ) dated the 1st January , 2008 has recommended conferment of status of ' deemed to-be- university' to Christ College, Bangalore for a period of five years in respect of the following courses :
(i) Arts , Science , Commerce
(ii) Management, MCA & Hotel Management , PGDM ( iii) Law
(iv) Education.
4. Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferied bySection 3 ofthe UGC Act, 1956. the Central Government . on the advice of the University Grants Commission ( UGC), hereby declare that Christ College located in Bangalore in Karnataka , shall be " deemed-to-be- university " for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, in respect of the following courses, for a period of five years , with effect from the date of its disaffiliation from affiliating university, viz ., Bangalore University, subject to a review at the end of each year by the UGC with the help of an Expert Committee (i) Arts , Science and Commerce
(ii) Management , MCA & Hotel Management , PGDM (iii) Law
(iv) Education.
5. The status conferred on Christ College, Bangalore shallbe confirmed after a period of five years only on the basis of the aforesaid reviews by an Expert Committee of the UGC and recommendations of the Commission thereof:
6. The declaration as made in para 4 above is subject to fulfillment/ compliance of further conditions mentioned at Sr. No. 6 of the endorsement to this Notification;
