इस मणिन्ति का आदी कार्यालयक हिन्दी के प्रगामी प्रबंग से संबंधित विषयों तथा गृह मंत्रालभाषा विभाग ) द्वारा ममय गमन पर निर्धारित नीति के कायांन्वयन मंत्रालय की मलाह देना होगा.
(3) कार्यकाल
समिति का कार्यकाल उम्यकं गठन की तारीख सेतनांच लिए होगा , बशर्ते कि:
( क) कोई भी परस्य जो संसद सदस्य है, संसद का हवं नर इस समिति का भी सदस्य नहीं रहेगा।
(ख) समिति के पदेन सदस्य उस समय तक सदस्य चने गजब तक वे उन पदों पर हैं, जिसके कारण वह समिति के सदस्य हैं ।
(ग ) यदि किसी सदस्य के त्यागपत्र अथवा मृत्यु अदिति में कोई स्थान रिक्त होता है तो अपके स्थान परनियुक्त किए कार्यकाल शेष अवधि के लिए होगा ।
(4) सामान्त्र
समिति का प्रधान कायर्यालय नई दिल्ली में होगा:

4. कार्य
इस समिति का कार्य भारी उद्योग और लोक उद्यम मंत्रालय को सरकारी कामकाज में हिन्दी के प्रगामी प्रयोग से संबंधित विषयों तथा गृह मंत्रालय, राजभाषा विभाग द्वारा तैयार की गई राजभाषा नीति के प्रावधानों और जारी किए गए निदेशों के कार्यान्वयन केके संबंध में सलाह देना होगा । 5. समिति का कार्यकाल
समिति का कार्यकाल सामान्यतः ३ वर्ष का होगा । समिति के कार्यकाल की अवधि में यदि किसी व्यक्ति को इस समिति का सदस्य नामित किया जात्ता है, तो वह समिति के कार्यकाल की शेष अधि के लिए सदस्य होगा । विशेष परिस्थितियों में समिति का कार्यकाल भारी उद्योग विभाग द्वारा कम या ज्यादा किया जा सकेगा ।
समित्ति की बैठकों में भाग लेने के लिए गैर - सरकारी सदस्यों को राजभाया विभाग के दिनांक 22.1.1987 के कार्यालय ज्ञापन सं. 11/20034/4/86 -रा. भा. (क -2 ) में निहित दिशा- निर्देशों के अनुरूप और भारत सरकार द्वारा समय- समय पर यथा- संशोधित निर्धारित दरों एवं नियम के अनुसार यात्रा- भत्ता और दैनिक भत्ता दिया जाएगा ।

सं. एफ. 9-27/2003-यू-3 जबकि " जे.पो. सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान " नोएडा (उत्तर प्रदेश ) को विविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत इस मंत्रालय की दिनांक । नवम्बर, 2004 की समसंख्यक अधिसूचना के माध्यम से ' नई श्रेणी के अंतर्गत सविश्वविद्यालय घोषित किया गया बशर्ते कि वह कतिपय शर्ते पूरी करता हो जिसमें तीन वर्षों के पश्चात् समीक्षा करना शामिल है ।
2. और जबकि, विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग ने इस उद्देश्य के लिए गठित विशेषज्ञ समिति के माध्यम से " जे.पी. सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान " नोएडा के कार्यप्रणाली को समीक्षा की है ।
3. और, जबकि विशेषज्ञ समिति की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग ने दिनांक 25 फरवरी , 2008 के अपने पत्र संख्या एफ. 6-8/2004 ( सी.पी.पी. - 1) के माध्यम से " जे.पी. सूचना प्रौद्योगिको संस्थान " नोएडा को ' सम विश्वविद्यालय ' का स्तर जारी रखने की सिफारिश को है बशर्ते कि उसकी पांच वर्ष के पश्चात् समीक्षा की जाए । 4. इसलिए अब केन्द्र सरकार विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम , 1956 की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और इस संबंध में दिनांक । नवम्बर, 2004 को इस मंत्रालय की समसंख्यक अधिसूचना की शर्तों का कड़ाई से पालन करते हुए अगले पांच वर्षों की अवधि के लिए नई श्रेणी के अंतर्गत उक्त अधिनियम के उद्देश्यार्थ " जे.पी. सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान " नोएडा को समविविद्यालय के रूप में जारी रखने का अनुमोदन प्रदान करती है बशर्ते कि वह निम्नलिखित शर्तें पूरी करता हो:-
( i ) पांच वर्षों की अवधि के पश्चात् विशेषज्ञ समिति के सहयोग से विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग द्वारा जे .पी . सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान की प्रगति और कार्य निष्पादन की समीक्षा की जाएगी और जे.पी. सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, नोएडा को प्रदत्त ' समविश्वविद्यालय' का स्तर उक्त विशेषज्ञ समीक्षा समिति की रिपोर्ट तथा उस पर विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान 1334

5. उपर्युक्त पैरा में गवं उद्घोषणा इस शर्त के अधीन है कि वह इस अधिसूचना के पृष्टंक पूरा अनुसरण करता है । में उल्लिखित अन्य शर्तों को (ii ) जे.पी. सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग द्वारा निर्धारित माँडन्न संगम ज्ञापनः नियमावली की तर्ज तथा अनुसरण में संगम ज्ञापन नियावली को तत्काल मंशोधित करंग और अदित संगम ज्ञापनः नियमावानां को विधिवत् रूप में पंजीकृत करवाए ।
6. न तो भारत सरकारही विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग बैल एण्ड हो, विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, गन और योजनेतर सहायता अनुदान टेक रंगःराजन डा . भ्यून चेन्नई, तमिलनाडु प्रदान करेगा ।

2. और जबकि उन्न श्री आर. रंगाराजन डा. सगुनहरा रंगशिक्षा अकादमी, चेन्नई, तमिलनाडु को विश्वविश्चरलय अनुदान आयोगम 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत सविश्वविद्यालय का दर्जा प्रदान करने जाए अगस्त, 2004 में उन्नम्मे एक अग्वेदन पत्र प्राप्त हुआ था।
2. और जर्जाक, विध्वांयालय अनुदान आयोग ने ऊपर वर्णित बटक इकाइयों को शामिल करने " सआरएम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, चेन्नई की कार्य प्रेणानां इस उद्देश्याधं गठित विशेषज्ञ समिति के माध्यम से पुनरीक्षण किया है;
3. और जर्याक विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग से हम मानले पर प्राप्त सिफारिशों की इस मंत्रालय में 16.10.2007 की जांच की गई थी और वेल टेक रंगाराजन डा. सगुनकाला आर. एण्ड डी. विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिक संधान, चेन्नई, तमिलनाडु को समविश्वविद्यालय का दर्जा प्रदान करता कां इस मंत्रालय के दिलंक 23.11.2007 समंख्यकना जरिए अम्वीकृत कर दिया गयाः
3.और जबकि, विशेति को रिपोर्ट के आधार पर. विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग ने दिनांक आवरी 2007 के अपने पत्र क्रमांक संख्या एफ ७-21 /2001 ( मां के नाध्यम से " एसआरएम बिज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, चेन्नई को यम विश्वविद्यालय का दजां जारी रखने की सिफारिश की है, यह संभव बाद एक और पुनरीक्षण के विषयाधीन होगा;
4. इसलिए, अब. वंकार, विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की भार में प्रदत्न शक्त्यिों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा नग्मले में विश्वविद्यालय आयोग की सन्ताह के आधार पर " एसआरएम विज्ञान एव प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, चेन्नई" को उपयुंक्त अधि नियम के उद्देश्यार्थ अम् गच्च जारों हेतु निम्नलिखित शर्तों के अधीन सम-विश्वविद्यालय के दो ना अनुनादन करती है कि:-
4. और जबकि गेलटेक गंगाराजन डा. मगुन्तला अर. एण्ड ९ . विलास और प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, चेन्नई, तमिलनाडु द्वारा प्रस्तुत नए देने कभियों को दूर कर दिया गया है जिनका उपर्युक्त पैग में अधिसूचनाओं में उल्लेख किया गया है, मामन्ने पर हुन्न मंत्रालय में किया गया और विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग का निथा त विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयंग अधिनियम, 1956 को भाग शक्तियों के आधार पर केन्द्र सरकार एतद द्वारा बेल टैक सगुनवला आर. एण्ड डॉ. त्रिज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान चेनाडु को उक्त अधिनियन के उद्देश्यार्थ समविश्वविद्यालच संस्थान में चोषित करती है । यह उस तिथि से प्रभावी होगा जब बेल देगा डा. सगुनतला आर. एण्ड डो. विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, बेन्द् नामतः अन्ना विश्वविद्यालय. चेन्नई, तमिलनाडु से न्यूयं को कार लताहै ।
(i) एसआरएन विज्ञान कार्यनिष्पादन का पुत्र अनुदान आयोग द्वारा एक एसआरएम विज्ञान एवं प्रो सम- विश्वविद्यालय के दबको प्रयोकी भंम्थान चेन्नई को प्रगति और की अवधि के बाद विश्वविद्यालय समिति की सहायता से किया जाएगा और संस्थान, चेन्नई को प्रदार किए गए पुनरीक्षण विशेषज्ञ समिति की रिपोर्ट भाग - खण्ड 1
तथा तदुपरांत विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की सिफारिशों के आधार पर पुष्टिकी जाएगी;
(ii) एसआरएम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, चेन्नई को विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग तथा अखिल भारतीय तकनीकी शिक्षा परिषद द्वारा समय- समय पर जारी किए गए दिशानिर्देशों का अनुपालन करना चाहिए, जैसा कि विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत घोषित -विश्वविद्यालय संस्थाओं के लिए लागू होता है । 5. उपर्युक्त पैरा 4 में की गई घोषणा आगे इस अधिसूचना के पृष्ठांकन क्रमांक संख्या 4 में वर्णित शर्तों के विषयाधीन होगी ।

2. और जबकि मानव रचना अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विश्वविद्यालय , फरीदाबाद, हरियाणा , जनवरी , 2004 और अप्रैल, 2004 में विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत नई श्रेणी के अंतर्गत ' सम विश्वविद्यालय ' का दर्जा प्राप्त करने के लिए आवेदन किया था;
3. और जबकि विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग ने उक्त प्रस्ताव की जांच की है और अपने दिनांक 18 जुलाई, 2008 के पत्र संख्या 22-2/2007 ( सीपीपी- [ ) के जरिए मानव रचना अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विश्वविद्यालय , फरीदाबाद, हरियाणा को इस शतं के आधार पर 'सम विश्वविद्यालय'का दर्जा प्रदान करने की सिफारिश की है कि दर्जा प्रदान करने के पांच वर्ष की अवधि के बाद इसके निष्पादन को समीक्षा की जाएगी ;
4. इसलिए अब केन्द्र सरकार विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम , 1956 की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए विविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की सलाह पर तद्नुस्गर यह घोषणा करती है कि मानव रचना अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विश्वविद्यालय, फरांदाबाद, हरियाणा जिसमें कॅरियर प्रौद्योगिकी और प्रावधान संस्थान शामिल है, अपने संबंधन विश्वविद्यालय अथर्थात महर्षि दयानन्द विश्वविद्यालय , रोहतक, हरियाणा से अपना संबंधन समाप्त होने की तारीख से पांच वर्षों की अवधि के लिए उपर्युक्त अधिनियम के उद्देश्यार्थ " सय- विश्वविद्यालय " होगा बर्शत इन पांच वर्षों में समीक्षा समिति इसकी वार्षिक समीक्षा करेगी;
5. मानव रचना अंत्तर्राष्ट्रीय विश्वविद्यालय , फरीदाबाद, हरियाणा को प्रदान किए गए दर्जे की विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की विशेषज्ञ समिति द्वारा उक्त समीक्षा और आयोग की सिफारिशों के आधार पर तीन वर्ष की अवधि के बाद समीक्षा की जाएगी;
6. उपर्युक्त पैरा 4 में की गई उद्घोषणा इस अधिसूचना को पृष्ठांकन क्र.सं. 4 में उल्लिखित अन्य शर्तों को पूरा करने/इनका अनुपालन करने की शर्त के अधीन होगी;
7. न तो भारत सरकार और न विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग मानव रचना अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विश्वविद्यालय. फरीदाबाद, हरियाणा को कोई योजनागत या योजनेत्तर सहायता अनुदान प्रदान करेगी ।

4. इसलिए, अब, विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 कीधारा 3 में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार, विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की सिफारिश पर, यह घोषणा करती है कि राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय युवा विकास संस्थान ( आरजीएनआईवाईडी) , श्रीपेरुम्बदूर , तमिलनाडु, नए सिरे को श्रेणी के तहत , उपर्युक्त अधिनियम के उद्देश्यार्थ विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग द्वारा प्रत्येक वर्ष के अंत में एक विशेषज्ञ समिति द्वारा पुनरीक्षण के विषयाधीन पांच वर्षों की अवधि के लिए अस्थायी तौरपर एक सम-विश्वविद्यालय संस्था होगा;
5. राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय युवा विकास संस्थान को प्रदान किए गए दर्जे की पुष्टि पांच वर्षों के बाद विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की विशेषज्ञ समिति द्वारा किए गए वार्षिक पुनरीक्षण एवं तदुपरांत आयोग की सिफारिशों के आधार पर की आएगी;
6. राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय युवा विकास संस्थान संबंधित प्राधिकारणों कर्का पूर्व अनुमति के बिना दूरस्थ पद्धति के माध्यम से प्रस्तावित अकादमिक पाठ्यक्रमों का आयोजन नहीं करेगा । अपर्युक्त पैरा 4 में की गई घोषणा इस अधिसूचना के पृष्ठांकन के कम संख्या 3 में वर्णित शतों की पूर्ति/ अनुपालना केविषयाधीन होगी;
7. राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय युवा विकास संस्थान युवा मामले एवं खेल मंत्रालय से वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त करना जारी रखेगा ।

Tenure ofOffice ofthe Samiti will be for a period of three years from the date of its composition , provided that:
(a) Any Member who is Member of Parliament as soon as he ceases to be a Member of Parliament , will also cease to be aMember of this Samiti ,
(b) Ex-Officio members ofthe Samiti will continue to be Members till they hold the post , by virtue of which they are Members ofthe Samiti .
(c) Ifany vacancy is caused on the Samiti due to resignation or death etc. of any Member, the Member appointed in his place,will beMember ofthe Samiti for residual term.

HeadOffice ofthe Samiti will be in New Delhi .
(5) T.A. and OtherAllowances: -
T.A. and D.A. will be paid to the non - official members of the Hindi Salahkar Samiti for attending the meetings of the Committee according to the scheduled rates and Rules as laid down in theOffice Memorandum No. 11 /20034/04/2005-0.L .

4. Now, therefore , the Central Government , in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the UGCAct. 1956 , and on the advice of the IGC in the matter, do hereby accord approval to the continuance of" Jaypee Institute of Information Technology ( JIT) , NOHIDA. as a " deemed -to - be - university" for the purpose of the aforesaid Act , under de novo category , for a further period of live years , strictly in terms of this Ministry's notification of even number dated the 1st November , 2004. subject to the following conditions that:
The functions of the Samiti will be to render nice Lo Ministry of leavy Industries and Public Enterprises with regard to the progressive use of Hindi în Official work and implementation of the provisions of the Official Lingunge Policy laiddown and instructions issued by the Ministry of HomeAffairs. 5. Tenure of the Samiti
:
( i ) the progress and performance of the JIIT shall he reviewed by the 11GC with the help of an Expert Committee after a period of five years and that the status of deemed-to- he-university' conferrein the JIT. NOIDA, shall be confirmed on the basis of the report'the said Expert Review Committee and recommendation of the GC thereon;
Normally the tenure of the Samiti willbe of three years . It'a person is nominated as a member in the middle ofthe twrim, he she will hold the office for the residual term of the Samiti . Im special circumstances, the tenure of the Samiti may be curtailed or enhanced by the Departinent of Heavy Industry.
6. T.A. and Other Allowance
( ii ) the SIIT shoulkt inmediately revise the Memorandum of Association (MOA ) Rufes in line and in accordance with the model MoA/Rules prescribed by the UGC and get the approved MoA /Rules daly registered:
The non -official members will be paid T.A.D.A for attending meetings of the Samiti in accordance with the guidelines contained in the office memorandum No.1034 86 -OL-(A- 2 ) dated 22.1.1987 and as per the prescribed rates and rules as amended from time to time by the Government .
ORDER
( iii ) the IIT Society should , as per the advice of the UGC. submit an undertaking, on stamp paper, from the Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan ( JSS ) Trust, New Delhi that the land subleased by the NOIDA will be allowed tobe in possession of IT. NOIDA , permanently; and .
( iv ) the JII'T should adhere to the norms and guidelines prescribed by the UGC and the All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE ) , Liate to time , as are applicable to the institutions declared as deemed - to - he - universities under Section 3 of the UGC Act. 1956.

3.And . whereas , on the basis of the report of the f spert Committee , the LIGC vitle its communication No.F. 6-11 ( CPP- I ) dated the 25th February , 2008 have reconnuended continuation of the status of ' Deemed- to-be- Universits to " IT " , NOIDA , subject to a turther review after five years ;
3.And whereas, the donmendations of the University Commission ( UGC ) received in the matter on 16.10.2007 were examined in this Ministrs and the proposal for conferment ot status of deemed-to-be- university to Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Channai , Tamil Nadu was rejected vide this Ministry's notification of even number dated 23.11.2007.

4.And whereas, upon submission of fresh documents by the Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai , Tamil Nadu to remove the deficiencies as pointed out in the notifications referred to para 3 above , the matter has been reconsidered in the Ministry. and on the basis of the recommendations of the UGC and exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act , 1956 , the Central Government do hereby declare Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R& D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai , Tamil Nadu , as an institution 'deemed to be a university' for the purposes of the aforesaidAct, with effect from the date from which the Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Saguntbala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai , Tamil Nadu is disaffiliated from its affiliating university, viz , Anna University, Chennal, Tamil Nadu.
5. The declaration as made in para 4 above is subject to fulfillment/ compliance of further conditions mentioned at Sr. No. 4 of the endorsement to this Notification;
6. Neither theGovernment of India nor the UGC shali provide any Plan or Non - Plan grant- in-aid to the Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai , Tamil Nadu .

No. F. 9-9/ 1998-0.3 .--Whereas "SRM Institute ofScience andTechnology, Chennai" comprising ofSRM Dental College, Chennai was declared as a 'deemed-to - be- university' , under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC ) Act . 1956 vide this Ministry's notification of even number dated the 2nd August , 2004. Later on , following constituent units were also included in the ambit of aforesaid deemed university:-
1. SRM Engineering College, Kattankulathar
2. SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre , Kattankulathar .
3. SRM College ofPharmacy, SRM Nagar Kattankulathar.
4.SRM College of Nursing, Chennai .
5. SRM College of Physiotherapy Ramapuram Chennai .
6. SRM College of Occupational Therapy, Chennai 7. SRM institute of Management and Technology. Modinagar, UP
2.And whereas , the UGC has reviewed the functioning of the " SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai " comprising of above mentioned constituent units through an ExpertCommittee constituted for this purpose;
3. And, whereas , on the basis of the report of the Expert Committee, the UGC vide its communication No.F.6-21/2001 (CPP - 1 ) dated the 24th January , 2007 has recommended continuation of the status of'Deemed-to-be- University' to "SRM institute of Science and Technology, Chennai " , subject to a further review after five years;
1341 4.Now, therefore , the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the UGC Act , 1956 , and on the advice of the UGC in the matter, do hereby accord approval to the continuance of " SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai as a Deemed -to -be- University for the purpose of the aforesaid Act , for a further period of five years, subject to the following conditions that :-
(i ) the progress and performance of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai shall be reviewedby the UGCwith the help of an Expert Committee after a period of five years and that the status of ' Deemed- to- be - University' conferred on the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Chennai , shall be confirmed on the basis of the report of the said Expert Review Committee and recommendation of the UGC thereon;
( ii) the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai should adhere to the norms and guidelines prescribed by the UGC and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) , from time to time , as are applicable to the institutions declared as deemed-to-be - universities under Section 3 of the UGCAct, 1956.
5.The declaration made in para 4 above shall be subjectto further conditions that are mentioned at Sl . No. 4 of the endorsement of this notification .

No. F. 9-3/2007-U . 3 (A).-Whereas the Central Goverment is empowered under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act , 1956 to declare , on the advice ofthe UGC, an Institution of Higher Learning as a deemed -to -be- university.
2. And whereas, an application was received in January, 2004 and April, 2004 from Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad, Haryana seeking status of' deemed-to- be-university' under de- novo category under Section 3 of the UGCAct, 1956 ;
3.And whereas, the University Grants Commission has examined the said proposal and vide its communication bearing No. 22-2/2007 ( CPP- 1 ) dated the 18th July, 2008 has recommended conferment of status of ' Deemed -to -be- University' to Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad, Haryana with a condition that performance will be reviewed after a period of five years of conferment of status.
4. Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Central Government , on theadvice ofthe University Grants Commission (UGC), hereby declare that Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad , Haryana , comprising of Career Institute of Technology and Management only, shall be a " Deemed-to- be-University" for the purposes of the aforesaid Act , for a period offive years, with effect from the date of its disaffiliation from its affiliating universities , viz . , Maharshi Dayanand 1342
