This public notice is being issued by Jaypee Powergrid Limited , a joint venture Company between Jaiprakash Hydro Power Limited and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, A Govt. of India Enterprise , for information of all those , who are concerned.
This notice is to intimate that Jaypee Powergrid Limited has been entrusted with responsibility of constructing 400 KV, D/C , Karcham Wangtoo - Abdullapur Transmission line . Length of the line is around 216 Kms , starting from Wangtoo in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh and terminating at Abdullapur Substation of POWERGRID in, Yamuna Nagar , district of Haryana State . The line passes through Panvi , Nichar , Sungra, Ponda, Taranda in district Kinnaur , Sarahan, Shadhar, Gopalpur , Gaura, Dandasa, Uroo , Talai , Khanyoli , Navan , Bharach, Delath , Karagala, Kharhan , Bagi , Chamen , Khatlu Nala, Gumma, Chaila, Sainj , Balog, Tarai In Simla district and Neri Pul , Jagher, Chakhal , Habban , Rajgarh , Mangarh , Sarahan, Banhekiser , Kolawalabhud , Varma Panari , Kala Amb in Sirmour district in Himachal Pradesh . This line also passes through Toka, Kama, Dera , Naraingarh in Ambala and Ajgarpur, Rasulpur, Sadhaura and Bambli Villages in Yamuna Nagar District of Haryana State.
The line is being constructed in full compliance of provision of The Electricity Act, 2003 , after receipt of transmission license no . 3/Transmission/CERC dated 12.10.2007 ,from Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, Govt of India . Also route alignment of the line has been carried out by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (the CTU) in full compliance of Environmental and Social policies and procedures of the owners/ partners .
