आदि सम्मिलित हैं )
General Statutory Rules ( Including Orders , Bye - laws etc. of a general character) issued by the Ministries ofthe Government of India (other than the Ministry of Defence) and by the Central Authorities ( other than the Administrations ofUnion Territories )

सा.का.नि. 22. राष्ट्रपति , संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारत के महारजिस्ट्रार का कार्यालय और राज्यों एवं संघ राज्यक्षेत्रों में स्थित जनगणना कार्य निदेशकों के कार्यालयों में ( वरिष्ठ भूगोलवेत्ता) भर्ती नियम, 2001 में संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं , अर्थात्:-
1. (1 ) इन नियमों का नाम भारत के महारजिस्ट्रार का कार्यालय और राज्यों एवं संघ राज्यक्षेत्रों में स्थित जनगणना कार्य निदेशकों का कार्यालय ( वरिष्ठ भूगोलवेत्ता ) भर्ती संशोधन नियम, 2009 होगा ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारत के महारजिस्ट्रार का कार्यालय और राज्यों एवं संघ राज्यक्षेत्रों में स्थित जनगणना कार्य निदेशकों का कार्यालय ( वरिष्ठ भूगोलवेत्ता ) भर्ती नियम, 2001 की अनुसूची में,-
(क) कालम 5 के अधीन शीर्षक एवं प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित शीर्षक एवं प्रविष्टियों को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा; अर्थात्:-

G. S. R. 22. In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution , the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Office of the Registrar General , India and Offices of the Directors of Census Operations in States and Union Territories ( Senior Geographer) Recruitment Rules , 2001 , namely : ---
1. (1) These rules may be called the Office of the Registrar General , India and Offices of the Directors of Census Operations in States and Union Territories (Senior Geographer ) Recruitment Amendment Rules , 2009,-
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Office of the Registrar General , India and Offices of the Directors of Census Operations in States and Union Territories ( Senior Geographer) Recruitment Rules , 2001 , ---
(a) under column (5 ), for the heading and entries , the following heading and entries shall be substituted , namely:-
Whether selection post or non - selection post .

(b) under column ( 13 ), for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
