आ.अ. 43. लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1950 ( 1950 का 43 ) की धारा 13 क की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारत निर्वाचन आयोग गोवा सरकार के परामर्श से एतद्वारा श्री अजित श्रीवास्तव , आई.ए.एस. ( एजीएमयुटी : 96 ) के स्थान पर श्री गोंनेश कोयु , आई.ए.एस. ( एजीएमयुटी : 91 ) को उनके कार्यभार ग्रहण करने की तारीख से आगामी आदेशों तक के लिए गोवा राज्य के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी के रूप में नामित करता है ।
2. श्री कोयु गोवा सरकार के अधीन सभी पदभार या किसी कार्य के पदभारों को तत्काल सौंप देंगे या धारण करना समाप्त कर देंगे, जो कि वे ऐसा पदभार ग्रहण करने से पहले धारण कर रहे थे ।
3. श्री कोयु मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी , गोवा के रूप में कार्य करते हुए गोवा सरकार के अधीन निर्वाचन विभाग के सचिव के अलावा किसी भी प्रकार का कोई अन्य कार्यभार ग्रहण नहीं करेंगे ।
4. किसी भी अतिरिक्त कार्यभार के लिए आयोग से विशेष तौर पर लिखित्त पूर्वानुमति को प्राप्त करना आवश्यक होगा ।

ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA
New Delhi , the 24th November , 2009
O.N. 43. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 13 -A of the Representation of the People Act , 1950 (43 of 1950 ) , the Election Commission of India in consultation with the Government of Goa hereby nominates Shri Gonesh Koyu , IAS (AGMUT : 91 ) as the Chief Electoral Officer for the State of Goa with effect, from the date he takes over charge and until further orders Vice Shri Ajit Srivastava, IAS ( AGMUT : 96).
2. Shri Koyu shall cease to hold and hand over forthwith the charge of all or any charges of work under the Government of Goa, which he may be holding before such assumption of office.
3. Shri Koyu while functioning as the Chief Electoral Officer, Goa, shall not hold any other charge whatsoever under the Government of Goa except that of the Secretary of the Election Department in the State Government .
4. For any additional charge, a specific prior written approval ofthe Election Commission shall have to be obtained.
