The draft amendment to the NSE ( Futures & Options ) Trading Regulations as given hereunder is published for criticism in accordance with the provisions of Section 23 of the General Clauses Act , 1897 in the Official Gazette of India . Any person having any observations on the proposed amendments to the said Regulations can send the same in writing to the undersigned at the Exchange Plaza , C- 1 , Block G , Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai 400 051 within fifteen days from the date of this publication in the Gazette . The observations received after the aforementioned date will not be considered when the draft amendment will be taken for consideration .
Thefollowing clause is proposed to be inserted as Regulation 4.7 in Chapter 4 of NSE ( Futures and Options ) Trading Regulations: -

4.7 The trading member shall extend cooperation , which he may be reasonably expected to extend , in the resolution process towards the complaints received from the investors against trading members / registered sub brokers . If the trading member fails to extend cooperation in the resolution process , the Exchange shall set aside an amount equivalent to the claim amount of the unresolved complaints from the deposits of the member.
