3. उपर्युक्त चयन सूचियों में उनके नाम शामिल किए जाने पर अधिकारी, अपने वेतन के पुनर्निर्धारण के कारण अवर सचिव के पद पर अपनी वास्तविक नियुक्तिकी तारीखों से बकाया वेतन के हकदार होंगे । इसके अतिरिक्त, ये अधिकारी एफआर-22 के प्रावधानों के अनुसार अपने वेतन निर्धारण के विकल्प का चयन करने के भी हकदार होंगे । तथापि, ऐसे अधिकारी जिन्हें अपनी संबंधित चयन सूचियों की 01 जुलाई से पहले तदर्थ अवर सचिव के रूप में पदोन्नत किया गया था और जिन्होंने विभक्त विकल्प का लाभ उठाया था, इस विकल्प का पुनः लाभ उठाने के पात्र नहीं होंगे ।.
