सं. एफ- 3-1 / 2010 - यू. -3-- जबकि भारतीय इतिहास अनुसंधान परिषद् ( आई सी एच आर ) , नई दिल्ली के अध्यक्ष के रूप में प्रो . सब्यसाची भट्टाचार्य का कार्यकाल दिनांक 02.03.2010 तक था और अध्यक्ष की नियुक्तिकरने की प्रक्रिया में कुछ और समय लग सकता है ;
और जबकि, भारतीय इतिहास अनुसंधान परिषद् के संगम ज्ञापन और नियमों में अंतरिम व्यवस्था करने का कोई प्रावधान नहीं है;
और जबकि , संगम ज्ञापन और नियमों में उपर्युक्त कमी के कारण भारतीय इतिहास अनुसंधान परिषद् के कार्यकरण में कठिनाई पैदा हो गई है ;
इसलिए, अब , भारतीय इतिहास अनुसंधान परिषद् के संगम ज्ञापन और नियमों के नियम 16 ( ख ) के प्रावधान के अनुसार भारत सरकार एतद्वारा यह निर्देश देती है कि उपर्युक्त उल्लिखित कठिनाई को दूर करने के लिए और परिषद् के कार्यकरण के हित में प्रो. सब्यसाची भट्टाचार्य को दिनांक 03.03.2010 से भारतीय इतिहास अनुसंधान परिषद् के अध्यक्ष के रूप में जारी रखना माना जाएगा और वे आगामी आदेशों के जारी होने तक भारतीय इतिहास अनुसंधान परिषद् के अध्यक्ष बने रहेंगे ।

No. F. 3-1 / 2010- U. -3- Whereas the tenure of prof. Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya as Chairman , Indian Council of Historical Research ( ICHR ), New Delhi was until 02.03.2010 , and the process of appointing a Chairman is likely to take some more time ;
And, whereas , there is no provision in the MOA and Rules of ICHR for an interim arrangement ;
And whereas , a difficulty has arisen in the functioning of ICHR owing to the aforesaid lacuna in the MOA and Rules ;
Now, therefore , in accordance with the provision of Rule 16 (b ) of the Memorandum of Association & rules of the Indian Council of Historical Research , the Government of India hereby directs that Prof. Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya shall be deemed to have continued as Chairman ICHR from 03.03.2010 and shall continue in office as Chairman of ICHR till further orders in the interest of the functioning of the Council and to overcome the difficulty mentioned above .
