सं.1/3/2007- कमेटी- सामान्य सूचना हेतु अधिसूचित किया जाता है कि सोसाइटी पंजीकरण अधिनियम ( 1860 का XXI ) के प्रयोजनार्थ अध्यक्ष , सीएसआईआर द्वारा वैज्ञानिक तथा औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद् ( सीएसआईआर ) की शासी निकाय का 3 वर्ष की अवधि के लिए गठन किया गया था जिसे इसकी निरंतरता को बनाए रखने के लिए दिनांक 01.07.2007 से प्रभावी बनाए रखने हेतु दिनांक 17.12.2007 की अधिसूचना सं. 1 / 3/ 2007- कमेटी के माध्यम से अधिसूचित किया गया था क्योंकि पिछली शासी निकाय की कार्यावधि 30.06.2007 तक थी ।
सीएसआईआर के नियमों एवं विनियमों तथा उपविधियों में निहित प्रावधानों के अनुसार नामित सदस्यों की कार्यावधि तीन वर्ष है और उनकी सदस्यता शासी निकाय का सदस्य बनने की तारीख से 3 वर्ष पूरा होने पर समाप्त हो जाती है ।
तदनुसार, नियमों के अनुपालनार्थ और इस बात को सुगम बनाने हेतु कि नामित सदस्य पूरे 3 वर्ष की अवधि के लिए शासी निकाय के सदस्य के रूप में कार्य कर सकें , उपाध्यक्ष, सीएसआईआर ने शासी निकाय के नामित सदस्यों की सदस्यता को 16.12.2010 तक जारी रखने को अनुमोदन प्रदान किया है ।

No. 1 /3 /2007-Cte-It is notified for general information that for the purposes of the Societies RegistrationAct (XXI of 1860) , the Governing Body of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) was constituted by the President , CSIR for three years . The same was notified vide Notification No. 1 /3/2007- Cte dated 17.12.2007 with effect from 01.07.2007 to maintain continuity since the term of previous GB was upto 30.06.2007.
As per provisions contained in CSIR Rules & Regulations and bye - Laws , the term of nominated members is three years and they relinquish membership on the expiry of three years from the date on which they become GB members .
Accordingly, in compliance of the Rules and to facilitate the nominated members to function as GB members for full term of three years , the Vice-President, CSIR has approved continuation of membership of the nominated members ofGB upto 16.12.2010.
