As per the requirements of Rule 18 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957, the proposed amendment to the Bye- laws of MCX Stock Exchange Limited , as given hereunder, is published for criticism in accordance with the provisions of Section 23 of the General Clauses Act, 1897

Any person having any observations on the proposed amendment to the Bye - laws can send the same in writing to the undersigned at the Exchange Square , CTS No. 255, Suren Road , Andheri (East ) , Mumbai -400093 within fifteen days from the date of this publication in the Gazette. The observations received after the aforementioned date will not be considered when the amendment will be taken for consideration .
It isproposed to make the following amendments in the Bye- laws of the Exchange , as approved by SEBI: - Chapter II -Trading Segments
1. For Bye - law 6 of Chapter II of the Bye- laws of the Exchange, the following shall be substituted , namely: - "Currency Derivatives Trading Segment
6. Currency futures contracts , interest rate futures and any other contracts approved by the Securities and Exchange Board of India for admission to the Currency Derivatives Trading Segment of the Stock Exchange may be admitted on the said Trading Segment . "

The provisions contained in the Byelaws of the Exchange are amended to the extent given hereunder:---
(i) The following clause is inserted as Byelaw 7 in Chapter 1 of the Byelaws of the Exchange :-

(7) The specified securities issued by the Small & Medium Enterprises in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India ( Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements ) Regulations , 2009 may be admitted to the dealings on the SME Trading Segment .

(ii) As a consequence of the above amendment , the existing Byelaws (7) & (8 ) in Chapter I are renumbered as Byelaws ( 8) & (9) .
