76. ( 1 ) कोई संकल्प एक सामान्य संकल्प होगा जब उसके लिए आम सभा में अधिनियम के अंतर्गत अपेक्षित नोटिस विधिवत रुप से दिया गया है, ऐसे सदस्यों द्वारा संकल्प के पक्ष में दोट दिए जाते हैं ( चाहे हाथ दिखा कर अथवा वोट डाल कर, जैसा भी मामला हो) जो ऐसा करने के लिए पात्र होने के नाते व्यक्तिगत रुप से वोट देते हैं, वोटों, यदि कोई हैं, को आगे ले जाते हैं अथवा वोटिंग के लिए पात्र सदस्यों द्वारा संकल्प के विरुद्ध वोट देते हैं । 76. (c) Provided that where any Member of the Company is entitled to vote only on some resolution to be moved at a meeting and not on the others , such Member shall be taken into account for the purpose of these sub- clauses in respect of the former resolution or resolutions and not in respect of the latter.
76. (1 ) A resolution shall be an Ordinary Resolution when at a general meeting of which the notice required under the Act has been duly given , the votes cast ( whether on a show of hands , or on a poll , as the case may be ) , in favour of the resolution by Members who, being entitled to do so, vote in person , exceed the votes , if any , cast against the resolution by Members entitled and voting.
79. The affairs of the Company shall be managed by the Board consisting of not less than 3 but maximum of upto twenty four (24) members including nominee director or directors from the Central Government / Forward Market Commission, nominee directors in public interest as may be specified from time to time by the Forward Markets Commission , two nominees of the Shareholder Business Members and the managing director appointed in terms of Article 83 ; The constitution of Board of Directors shall be subject to the guidelines issued by the Forward Markets Commission , from time to time . ( ii) Shareholding Business Members present on the Board as Directors shall not trade in the Exchange during the period they are on the Board of Directors .
(iii ) Provided further that the Shareholding Business Members may have representation on the Board for a maximum period of three years from the date of recognition of the Exchange as Nationwide Multi- Commodity Exchange.
90. ( a) One third of such of the directors as are for the time being liable to retire by rotation ( fractions being rounded off to the next higher number) shall retire every year at the relevant Annual General Meeting (other than the first Annual General Meeting) and shall be eligible themselves for election.
(b) The directors who shall retire by rotation shall be those who have been longest in the office since their last appointment, but as between the persons who have been appointed as directors on the same day, those who are to retire shall, in default of and subject to any agreement among themselves , be determined by lot ."

Govt. of India, Ministry of Power have confirmed the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 to M/ s Teestavalley Power Transmission Limited (TPTL) having its registered office at 1st Floor , NBCC Tower, 15, Bhikaji Cama Place , New Delhi - 110066 for construction of Teesta- III - Kishanganj 400 KV D/ C Transmission Line and said order has been published in Gazette of India Notification Extraordinary , Part II , Section 3 , Sub- section ( ii ) of May 4, 2010.
Due to shifting of POWERGRID Pooling Station from Kishanganj to Karandighi , length ofTeesta - III - Karandighi 400 KV D /C Transmission Line would now be around 228 kms and it will also pass through, over, around and between the following villages , towns and cities in addition to the villages , towns , cities already covered / mentioned in the notification dated May 4, 2010 .
