सं. 112- प्रेज/ 2011-- राष्ट्रपति, सहर्ष निर्देश देते हैं कि इस सचिवालय की दिनांक 07 जून, 1989 की अधिसूचना सं. 50 - प्रेज/89 के अंतर्गत 24 जून, 1989 के भारत के राजपत्र के भाग -1 खण्ड-1 में प्रकाशित तथा समय- समय पर संशोधित राष्ट्रपति का तटरक्षक पदक और तटरक्षक पदक प्रदान करने से संबंधित नियमों में निम्नलिखित संशोधन किए जाएंगें : --
वीरता के लिए राष्ट्रपति का तटरक्षक पदक
वर्तमान नियम 5 के उप- नियम (ङ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाए : --
" इस वीरता पुरस्कार के सभी प्राप्तकर्ता, उनके रैंक का ध्यान रखे बिना एक समान नगद भत्ता पाने के हकदार होंगे । पदक और पदक के बार के लिए नगद भत्ते की दर दिनांक 01.10.1997 से 200/- रु. ( रुपये दो सौ ) प्रतिमाह, दिनांक 06.12.1999 से 750/- रु. ( रुपये सात सौ पचास ) प्रतिमाह और दिनांक 29.08.2011 से 1500/- रु. ( रुपये एक हजार पांच सौ ) प्रतिमाह होगी । "
वीरता के लिए तटरक्षक पदक
वर्तमान नियम 13 के उप- नियम ( क) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाए :--
" जब वीरता के लिए पुरस्कार प्रदान किया जाएगा तो राष्ट्रपति के तटरक्षक पदक के लिए निर्धारित शर्तों के अध्यधीन पदक और पदक के बार के साथ पदक प्राप्तकर्ता के रैंक को ध्यान में रखे बिना, दिनांक 01.10.1997 से120/ - रु. ( रुपये एक सौ बीस ) प्रतिमाह, दिनांक 06.12.1999 से 450/- रु. ( रुपये चार सौ पचास ) प्रतिमाह और दिनांक 29.08.2011 से 900/ - रु. ( रुपये नौ सौ ) प्रतिमाह की दर से एक समान नगद भत्ता प्रदान किया जाएगा । इस पर आने वाले खर्च तटरक्षक मुख्यालय के संबंधित विभाग के हेड से दिया जाएगा । "

No. 112- Pres/ 2011-The President is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made in the rules governing the award of President's Tatrakshak Medal and Tatrakshak Medal published in Part - I , Section - 1 of the Gazette of India on 24th June , 1989 vide this Secretariat Notification No. 50 - Pres /89 dated the 7th June , 1989 and as amended from time to time :
PRESIDENT'S TATRAKSHAK MEDAL FOR GALLANTRY
For the existing sub -rule (e) of rule (5), substitute the following :-
"All the recipients of this gallantry award shall be entitled to the monetary allowance on a uniform rate , irrespective of their ranks . The rate of monetary allowance for the Medal as also for the Bar to the Medal shall be Rs . 200/- (Rs . Two Hundred) per mensem w.e.f. 01.10.1997, Rs . 750/- (Rs . Seven Hundred Fifty) per mensem w.e.f. 06.12.1999 and Rs . 1500/- (Rs . One Thousand Five Hundred) per mensem w.e.f. 29.08.2011 .
TATRAKSHAK MEDAL FOR GALLANTRY
For the existing sub - rule (a) of Rule 13, substitute the following :-
"Whenawarded for gallantry, the Medal as also the Bar to the Medal shall , subject to the conditions set for the President's Coast Guard Medal for Gallantry, carry monetary allowance Rs . 120/- (Rs. One Hundred Twenty) per mensem w.e.f. 01.10.1997, Rs . 450/- (Rs. Four Hundred Fifty) per mensem w.e.f. 06.12.1999 and Rs . 900/- (Rs . Nine Hundred) per mensem w.e.f. 29.08.2011 . The expenditure incurred on this account shall be debitable to the relevant heads of Coast Guard Budget. "
