सं. यू. - 13019/1/2013 - ए.एन.एल. चूंकि दिनांक 04 जून , 2010 की अधिसूचना संख्या यू-13019/ 5/2010 - ए.एन.एल. तथा तन्तर दिनांक 06 अक्तूबर, 2010 , 07 दिसम्बर , 2010 एवं 08 दिसम्बर, 2010 की अधिसूचनाओं के तहत् गठित पूर्व समिति ने अपना कार्यकाल पूरा कर लिया है, सरकार एतद्वारा लक्षद्वीप संघ राज्य क्षेत्र के लिए गृह मंत्री की एक नई सलाहकार समिति का निम्न प्रकार गठन करती है :
2. लक्षद्वीप संघ राज्य क्षेत्र के लिए सलाहकार समिति में सदस्यों के रूप में निम्नलिखित शामिल होंगे :
(क ) प्रशासक, लक्षद्वीप ।
(ख ) संघ राज्य क्षेत्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले लोक सभा सदस्य ।
(ग ) जिला पंचायत के अध्यक्ष- सह- मुख्य पार्षद।
श्री अचाडा अहमद हाजी
(घ ) लोक सभा सदस्य को छोड़कर, पंचायत के सभी सदस्यों द्वारा चुने गए जिला पंचायत से पाँच सदस्य । वे हैं:--
(i ) श्री ए. जलालुद्दीनकोया ( आलियाथारा हाऊस , एन्ड्रोट्ट ) , जिला पंचायत सदस्य, डी पी डब्ल्यू/ 3
(ii) श्री रहमतुल्ला पी ( पक्कियोडा हाऊस , किल्तान ) , जिला पंचायत सदस्य , डी पी डब्ल्यू/ 3
(iii) श्री चेरियाकोया, सी ( चामायामपुरा हाऊस, काडमाट) , जिला पंचायत सदस्य, डी पी डब्ल्यू/4

(ङ) गृह मंत्री द्वारा नामित किए गए स्थायी सिविल सोसायटी का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले दो व्यक्ति:--
(i) श्रीमती सुनिधा इस्माइल के आर बी, अध्यक्ष एल एस एस डब्ल्यू बोर्ड, कावारत्ती ।
(ii) श्री वी. एम. शमसुद्दीन, अगात्ति ।
गृह मंत्री की सलाहकार समिति की बैठक वर्ष में एक बार होगी तथा नीतिगत मामलों, विधायी प्रस्तावों, वित्तीय मामलों और अन्य किन्हीं मामलों, जो केन्द्रीय गृह मंत्री द्वारा आवश्यक/वांछनीय समझे जाएं, पर चर्चा की जाएगी ।
4. पैरा 2 के उप - पैराओं ( घ ) और ( ङ) में उल्लिखित सदस्य का कार्यकाल दो वर्षों का होगा ।

No. U.13019/1 /2013 -ANL- Since the earlier Committee constituted vide notification No. U. - 13019/5/ 2010- ANL dated the 4th June, 2010 and subsequent notifications dated the 6th October , 2010, 7th December , 2010 & 8th December, 2010 has completed its term, the Government hereby constitute a fresh Home Minister's Advisory Committee for the Union Territory of Lakshadweep as under :--
2. The Advisory Committee for the Union Territory of Lakshadweep shall consist of the following as Members :-
(a) Administrator, Lakshadweep.
(b) Member of the Lok Sabha representing the Union Territory.
(c) President-cum-Chief Councillor of the District Panchayat. Shri Achada Ahamad Haji
(d) Five Members from the District Panchayat, excluding the Member of the Lok Sabha, elected by all the Members of the District Panchayat . They are :-
(i ) Shri A. Jalaluddeenkoya ( Aliyathara House, Andrott) , District Panchayat Member, DPW/ 12 .
(ii) Shri Rahmathulla P (Pakkiyoda House , Kiltan), District Panchayat Member, DPW/3 .
(iii) Shri Cheriyakoya, C ( Chamayampura House , Kadmat), District Panchayat Member, DPW/4 .
(iv) Shri Ponnikkam Shaikoya (Ponnikkam House Amini ), District Panchayat Member, DPW/8 (v) Shri T. Abdul Shukoor ( Thirinikad House , Agatti ) , District Panchayat Member, DPW/ 11 .
(e) Two persons of standing representing civil society nominated by the Home Minister :-
(i ) Smt . Sunidha Ismail KRB , Chairperson LSSW Board , Kavaratti .
( ii) Shri V. M. Shamsuddin, Agatti .
3.Home Minister's Advisory Committee shall meet once a year and discuss policy issues , legislative proposals , financial issues and any other issues considered necessary/desirable by the Union Home Minister .
4. The term of Member referred to in sub -paras ( d) & (e) of para 2 shall be two years .
