S.O. 937.—Whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary to do so in the public interest; and, therefore, in pursuance of sub-clause (ii) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 138 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, the Central Government hereby specifies officers of the rank of Joint Director and above serving in Directorate of Enforcement, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Fi- nance, Government of India, who are performing functions under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, for the का.आ. 937 .—जबकि केन्द्र सरकार का यह मत है कि ऐसा करना जनहित के लिए आवश्यक है; तथा इस प्रकार आयकर अधिनियम, 1961 की धारा 138 की उपधारा (1) के खंड (क) के उपखंड (ii) के अनुसरण में केन्द्र सरकार एतदद्वारा उक्त खण्ड के प्रयोजनार्थ भारत सरकार, वित्त मंत्रालय, राजस्व विभाग, के प्रवर्तन निदेशालय में संयुक्त निदेशक तथा उससे ऊपर के रैंक के सेवारत अध्ि ाकारियों, जो विदेशी मुद्रा प्रबंधन अधिनियम, 1999 एवं धनशोधन निवारण अधिनियम, 2002 के तहत कार्य का निष्पादन कर रहे हैं, को विनिर्दिष्ट करती है।
