Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (a Govt . of India Undertaking) , for evacuation of power, Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd. (BALCO) , having its registered office at Aluminium Sadan, Core-6 Scope Office Complex, Lodi Road, New Delhi- 110003 , is implementing a dedicated 400 KV Double Circuit transmission line for connecting its 1200 MW power plant at Korba, to the 400/765 KV Pooling Substation ofPGCIL at Dharamjaygarh/Korba, Chhattisgarh. It, therefore, intends to apply to the concerned Central authorities to confer upon it all the powers under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the placing of electric lines or electrical plant for the transmission of electricity to be so established or maintained and will undertake the survey, construction , installation, inspection, erection and other works to be followed by commissioning , operation , maintenance and other works for the following transmission scheme and the same is being published here for general information.
