ओपन इंटरनैशनल यूनिवर्सिटी वैकल्पिक दवाओं (OIUAM) के लिए 1975 के अधिनियम के तहत XXVII तमिलनाडु सरकार द्वारा पंजीकृत शरीर केन्द्रीय सरकार 1860 के अधिनियम XXI, साहित्यिक अधिनियम 1854 और अनुच्छेद 19 के वैकल्पिक चिकित्सा पूर्वावलोकन के तहत पाठ्यक्रम (1 चल रहा है पर आधारित है,) (छ) 29 और अल्पसंख्यकों के कल्याण के लिए भारत के संविधान के 30 और शिक्षित, अभ्यास, अनुसंधन, विकास, प्रचार और वैकल्पिक दवाओं का प्रचार।
वैकल्पिक दवाओं के लिए खुला अंतरराष्ट्रीय विश्वविद्यालय (OIUAM) की विस्तृत घोषणा अल्माटा डब्ल्यूएचओ, 1962 और विधेयक 1997 लोकसभा, सरकार में शुरू की नं. 9 प्रति स्थापित है भारत के 6 मार्च 1997 वैकल्पिक चिकित्सा के अधिकार के तहत शामिल किया। वैकल्पिक दवाओं के राष्ट्रीय बोर्ड (NBAM) से संबद्ध है और स्मार्ट शैक्षिक ट्रस्ट (सेट) ने मंजूरी दे दी है।

The Open International University for Alternative Medicines (OIUAM) is a registered body by the Govt. of Tamilnadu under Act XXVII of 1975, based on the Central Government Act XXI of 1860,Literary and Scientific Institutions Act 1854 and running Alternative Medical courses under preview of article 19 (1) (g),29 & 30 of the constitution of India for welfare of minorities and to educate, practice, research, development, propagate and promotion of Alternative Medicines.
The Open International University for Alternative Medicines (OIUAM) is established vide WHO declaration of Alma – Ata, 1962 and as per the Bill No. 9 of 1997 introduced in Lok Sabha, Govt. of India on 6th March 1997. Incorporated under the authority of Medicina Alternativa. Affiliated by the National Board of Alternative Medicines(NBAM) and approved by the Smart Educational Trust (SET).
The Open International University for Alternative Medicines (OIUAM) is an autonomous self styled Institution and functioning without any grant from Central or State Govt.
The Open International University for Alternative Medicines (OIUAM) never guaranteed for validity of job or further education on completion of concern courses.
