सं. 5(2)/2011 एसडी-I—इस्पात मंत्रालय के दिनांक 14.03.2011, 07.09.2011, 25.11.2011, 10.12.2012, 15.04.2013, 30.05.2013, 16.07.2013, 04.09.2013, और 05.09.2013 के समसंख्यक संकल्प के अनुक्रम में मंत्रालय के पूर्व कथित संकल्प के पैरा-3 के अंतर्गत इस्पात मंत्रालय की इस्पात उपभोक्ता परिषद् में गैर सरकारी सदस्य के रूप में श्री रंजीत विनायकराव कवारे पाटिल, C/o एस. जे. देशमुख वनराय मार्ग, प्रसांत नगर, अमरावती-444066, महाराष्ट्र को नामित किया जाता है।

द्वारा किया गया था। इसकी कार्यावधि दिनांक 13 मार्च 2013 को समाप्त हो गई है। सरकार ने इस परिषद् की कार्यावधि को और एक वर्ष अर्थात् 13 मार्च 2014 तक बढ़ाने का निर्णय लिया है।
2. लोहे और इस्पात की आपूर्ति, उपलब्धता, गुणवत्ता और बाजार के रूझान से संबंधित मामलों पर केन्द्र सरकार को परिषद् द्वारा सलाह और सहायता देने का का य र् अ प ि र व ि त र् त रहेगा।

Subject: Constitution of Steel Consumers' Council—regarding.
No. 5(2)/2011-SD-I—In continuation of Ministry of Steel Resolution of even number dated 14.03.2011, 07.09.2011, 25.11.2011, 10.12.2012, 15.04.2013, 30.05.2013, 16.07.2013, 04.09.2013 and 05.09.2013, Shri Ranjit Vinayakrao Kaware Patil, C/o S. J. Deshmukh Vanrai Marg, Prasant Nagar, Amravati-444606, Maharashtra is hereby nominated as non- official Member to the Steel Consumers' Council of Ministry of Steel under Para. 3 of this Ministry's aforesaid Resolution :—
2. The Council shall continue till its Chairman holds the office of Steel Minister. The initial tenure of the SCC will be two years from the date of this Notification unless specifically extended or curtailed by the Central Government. The SCC shall meet as and when required.

RESOLUTION
No. 5(2)/2011-SDI—The Steel Consumers' Council was last reconstituted by the Central Government vide Resolution No. 5(2)/2011-DI dated 14th March, 2011. Its term has expired on 13th March, 2013. The Government has since decided to extend the tenure of the Council by another year i.e. upto 13th March, 2014.
3. The functions of the Council i.e. to advise and assist the Central Government on matters relating to supply, availability, quality and the market trends of iron and steel will remain unchanged.
