का.नि.आ. 11.—राष्ट्रपति, संविधन के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए रक्षा अनुसंधन और विकास सेवा नियम, 1978 का और संशोध्न करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात् :—
1. ;कद्ध इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम रक्षा अनुसंधन और विकास सेवा ;संशोध्नद्ध नियम, 2013 है ।
;खद्ध ये राजपत्रा में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. रक्षा अनुसंधन और विकास सेवा नियम, 1978 की अनुसूची 7 के खंड ;खद्ध के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित खंड रखा जाएगा, अर्थात््ः—
फ्वैज्ञानिक 'ख' की परिसर भर्ती ''भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान'' और ''रक्षा अग्रिम प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान'' के विशिष्ट पाठ््यक्रमों में इंजीनियरी डिग्री पाठयक्रमों के तृृतीय वर्ष के पश्चात्् के विद्याथयों या विशिष्ट पाठयक्रमों में इंजीनियरी निष्णात या प्रौद्योगिकी निष्णात पाठ््यक्रमों ;जिसके अंतर्गत एकीकृत डिग्री या दोहरी डिग्री हैद्ध के अंतिम वर्ष के विद्याथयों में से की जाएगी''

S.R.O. 11.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Defence Research and Development Service Rules, 1978, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Defence Research and Development Service (Amendment) Rules, 2013.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Defence Research and Development Service Rules, 1978, in Schedule VII, for clause (b), the following clause shall be substituted namely:—
''(b) Campus recruitment of Scientist 'B' shall be done from amongst the students of third year onwards of the Engineering Degree Courses in specific disciplines or final year of Master of Engineering of Master of Technology (including Integrated Degree or Dual Degree) Courses of Indian Institute of Sciences and Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, in specific disciplines''.
