1. In Chapter V – Consequences of Expulsion for Rule 20(f), following shall be substituted:

"f) Consequences of declaration of defaulter to follow : The provisions of Chapter XV and Chapter XVI of the Byelaws pertaining to default and Protection Fund respectively, shall become applicable to the Trading Member expelled from the Stock Exchange as if such Trading Member has been declared a defaulter."

The Bye-laws of MCX Stock Exchange Limited was amended at Meeting of its Board of Directors held on November 14, 2013 as below. These amendments were approved by SEBI vide its letter no. MRD/DSA/MCX- SX/OW/4226/2014 dated February 06, 2014 after previous publication:

Chapter V – Dealings in Securities

After Bye-law12, a new Bye-law 12A shall be inserted, namely:-

"(12A) Fines on Issuer of Security Admitted for Dealing on the Stock Exchange

i. The manner of suspension and revocation of suspension of admission to dealing on the Exchange shall be in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) prescribed by the Exchange and/or SEBI from time to time.

ii. Every issuer shall comply with the condition of Listing Agreement as prescribed by Exchange and/or SEBI from time to time and shall be liable to pay such fine(s) as may be prescribed by Exchange and/or SEBI from time to time for non-compliance of provisions of the Listing Agreement or any of the SEBI Regulations dealing with listing as may be applicable to companies listed on Exchange.".

Suspension of Admission to Dealings on the Stock Exchange

(13) The relevant authority may suspend at any time the admission to dealings on the Stock Exchange granted to any security for such period as it may determine. At the expiration of the period of suspension the relevant authority may revoke such suspension subject to such conditions as it deems fit."
