2. तदर्थ पदोन्नति निम्नलिखित शर्तों के अधीन होगी। (i) तदर्थ पदोन्नति ग्रेड में अनिश्चितकाल तक बनाये रखने या नियमित नियुक्ति के लिए चयन सूची में सम्मिलित करने के लिए या सीएसएस के ग्रेड-I में वरिष्ठता का दावा करने का कोई भी अधिकार प्रदान नहीं करती।

(ii) तदर्थ नियुक्ति बिना कोई कारण बताये किसी भी समय समाप्त की जा सकती है। (iii) अधिकारी को डीओपीएण्डटी के द्वारा 'डी' स्तर के प्रशिक्षण के लिए किए गए नामांकन के अनुसार प्रशिक्षण में जाना होगा और सफलतापूर्वक प्रशिक्षण करना होगा।

(iv) अवर सचिव ग्रेड में तदर्थ आधार पर की गई सेवा का उस ग्रेड में वरिष्ठता के लिए या अगले उच्च ग्रेड में पदोन्नति के लिए नहीं गिना जायेगा।

2. The ad hoc promotion is subject to the following conditions:

(i) The ad hoc promotion shall not confer any right to continue in the grade indefinitely or for inclusion in the Select List for regular appointment or to claim seniority in the Grade-I of CSS;

(ii) The ad hoc appointment may be terminated at any point of time without giving any reason therefor;

(iii) The officer shall require to undergo and successfully complete the Level 'D' Training as per nomination made by DOP&T

(iv) The service rendered on ad hoc basis in the Under Secretary grade would not count for the purpose of seniority in that grade or for promotion to the next higher grade.
