सं. जा.मि.इ./आर.ओ./एल एंड ऑर्ड./2014--सभी संबंधितों की सूचना हेतु अधिसूचित किया जाता है कि भारत के राष्ट्रपति ने जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया के कुलाध्यक्ष की हैसियत से मानविकी एवं भाषा संकाय के अंतर्गत ''पर्यटन, होटल, आतिथ्य एवं विरासत अध्ययन विभाग'' की स्थापना हेतु मौजूदा परिनियम 20 की धारा (3) मेें संशोधन/परिवर्धन हेतु अपनी सहमति प्रदान की है जिसके बारे में मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय, उच्चतर शिक्षा विभाग ने अपने पत्र सं. एफ. 6-16/2009-डेस्क-यू , दिनाँक 27 मार्च, 2012 द्वारा सूचित किया है।
यथाअनुमोदित परिनियम 20 का संशोधित खंड (3) अनुलग्नक के अनुसार मान्य होगा।

(xiii) जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग;
(xiv) पर्यटन, होटल, आतिथ्य एवं विरासत अध्ययन विभाग ;
(xv) ऐसे अन्य विभाग जो समय-समय पर बनाए जाएंगे ।

No. JMI/R.O./L&Ord./2014—This is to notify for the information of all the concerned that the President of India in his capacity as the Visitor of Jamia Millia Islamia has been pleased to accord his assent for amendment/addition to the existing Clause (3) of the Statute-20 for the creation of a new Department, namely, "Department of Tourism, Hotel, Hospitality and Heritage Studies" under the Faculty of Humanities & Languages, as conveyed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Deptt. of Higher Education vide their letter No.F.6-16/2009-Desk-U dated March 27, 2012.
The amended Clause (3) of Statute-20 as approved would be read as shown in the Annexure.
