सं. आई-14013/49/2012-आईपीएस-1--माननीय उच्च न्यायालय, जम्मू एवं कष्मीर द्वारा विषेश रिट याचिका संख्या 733/2008 में पारित आदेष दिनांक 08.05.2014 के आलोक में श्री कस्तूरी लाल भगत के नाम को 1998 से 2001 तक की चयन सूचियों से भारतीय पुलिस सेवा के जम्मू कष्मीर संवर्ग में प्रोन्नति पर विचार करने हेतु दिनांक 26.11.2014 को आयोजित रिव्यू चयन समिति की बैठक की अनुषंसा जिसे संघ लोक सेवा आयोग ने दिनांक 04.03.2015 को अनुमोदित कर दिया है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप श्री कस्तूरी लाल भगत का नाम चयन सूची 2001 के क्रम संख्या-3ए पर जो श्री श्याम लाल शर्मा (क्रम संख्या-3) और श्री जगजीत कुमार (क्रम संख्या-4) के बीच है, में सम्मलित किए जाने के पष्चात्‌ राश्ट्रपति भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (पदोन्नति द्वारा नियुक्ति) विनियम, 1955 के विनियम 9 के उप विनियम (1) के साथ पठित भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (भर्ती) विनियम, 1954 के विनियम 9 के उप विनियम (1) में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, जम्मू कष्मीर राज्य पुलिस सेवा के श्री कस्तूरी लाल भगत (जन्म तिथि : 14.07.1954) (चयन सूची 2002 से पहले ही नियुक्त एवं दिनांक 31.07.2014 को भारतीय पुलिस सेवा से सेवानिवृत्ति अधिकारी) को चयन सूची 2001 से समस्त परिणामी लाभांषों सहित जम्मू कष्मीर संवर्ग में नियुक्त करते हैं।

2. श्री कस्तूरी लाल भगत की नियुक्ति दिनांक 10.01.2002 जो कि उक्त अधिकारी के तत्काल कनिश्ठ अधिकारी श्री जगजीत कुमार की नियुक्ति तिथि से प्रभावी होगी।

3. मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी अधिसूचना संख्या I-14011/9/2001-IPS-1 दिनांक 10.01.2002 के संकलन में प्रकाषित।
