S.R.O. 23.—In pursuance of sub-rule (2) of rule 9, clause (b) of sub-rule (2) of rule 12 and sub-rule (1) of rule 24 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965, and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the then Ministry of Surface Transport, Border Roads Development Board Order No. BRDB/l3(53)/99-GE-II, dated the 16th May, 2000, published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 2130, dated the 13th September, 2000, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby directs that in respect of the posts in the General Central Service, Group-B (Gazetted), General Central Service, Group 'B' (Non- Gazetted) and General Central Service, Group-C as specified in column (2) of Part-I, Part-II and Part-III of the Schedule to this Order, the authority specified in column (3) of the said Schedule shall be the Appointing Authority and the authorities specified in columns (4) and (6) of the Schedule aforesaid shall be the Disciplinary Authority and the Appellate Authority respectively in regard to the penalties specified in column (5).

का.नि.आ. 24.—राष्ट्रपति, संविधन के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, रक्षा मंत्राालय, संयुक्त बीजलेख ब्यूरो ;समूह-क और समूह-ख पदद्ध भर्ती नियम, 2000 का संशोध्न करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात् :—
1. ;1द्ध इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम रक्षा मंत्राालय, संयुक्त बीजलेख ब्यूरो ;समूह-क और समूह-ख पदद्ध भर्ती संशोध्न नियम, 2015 होगा ।
;2द्ध ये राजपत्रा में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।

S.R.O. 24.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the provision to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Ministry of Defence, Joint Cipher Bureau (Group 'A' and Group 'B'' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2000, namely:-
1.(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Defence, Joint Cipher Bureau (Group 'A' and Group 'B' posts) Recruitment Amendment Rules, 2015.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Ministry of Defence, Joint Cipher Bureau (Group' A' and Group 'B' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2000; against serial numbers 1,3,4,5,6 and 8 relating to the posts of Director, Deputy Director, Senior System Security Officer Grade - I, Senior System Security Officer Grade - II, Programmer and Data Processing Assistant Grade' A', for the entry under column (5), the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-
