आ.अ. 100.—लोक प्रतिनिध्त्वि अध्निियम, 1950 ;1950 का 43द्ध की धरा 13-क की उप-धरा ;1द्ध द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारत निर्वाचन आयोग तमिलनाडु राज्य क्षेत्रा के प्रशासन के परामर्श से एतद््द्वारा, श्री राजेश लखोनी, आई. ए. एस. ;टी. एन. ः 1992द्ध, को उनके कार्यभार ग्रहण करने की तारीख से आगामी आदेशों तक के लिए तमिलनाडु राज्य क्षेत्रा के मुख्य निर्वाचन अध्किारी के रूप में नामित करता है ।
2. श्री राजेश लखोनी, आई. ए. एस. ;टी. एन.ः 1992द्ध, तमिलनाडु सरकार के अध्ीन सभी पदभार या किसी कार्य के पदभारों को तत्काल सौंप देंगे या धरण करना समाप्त कर देंगे, जो कि वे ऐसा पदभार ग्रहण करने से पहले धरण कर रहे थे ।
3. श्री राजेश लखोनी, आई. ए. एस. ;टी. एन.ः 1992द्ध, मुख्य निर्वाचन अध्किारी, तमिलनाडु राज्य के रूप में कार्य करते हुए तमिलनाडु सरकार के अध्ीन किसी भी प्रकार का कोई अतिरिक्त कार्यभार ग्रहण नहीं करेंगे, सिवाय इसके कि उनको राज्य सचिवालय में निर्वाचन विभाग के प्रभारी, सरकार का सचिव पदाभिहित किया जायेगा ।

आदेश से, 310 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : NOVEMBER 21, 2015/KARTIKA 30, 1937 [PART II—SEC. 3(iii)] ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA New Delhi, the 20th November, 2015 O. N. 100.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 13A of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), the Election Commission of India, hereby nominates Shri Rajesh Lakhoni, IAS (TN:1992) as the Chief Electoral Officer, Tamilnadu with effect from the date, he takes over charge and until further orders.
2. Shri Rajesh Lakhoni, IAS (TN:1992), shall cease to hold and hand over forthwith the charges of all or any work under the Government of Tamilnadu, which he may be holding before such assumption of office.
3. Shri Rajesh Lakhoni, IAS (TN:1992) while functioning as the Chief Electoral Officer, Tamilnadu shall not hold any additional charge whatsoever under the Government of Tamilnadu except that he should be designated Secretary to the Government in charge of Election Department in the State Secretariat.
