POWERGRID Warora Transmission Limited (a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited) having its registered office at B-9, Qutab Institutional Area, Katwaria Sarai, New Delhi 110016 intends to apply to the Government of India to conferupon him all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the placing of electric lines or electrical plant for the transmission of electricity or for the purpose of telephonic or telegraphic communications1216 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, DECEMBER 19, 2015 (AGRAHAYANA 28, 1937) [PART IV necessary for the proper co-ordination of works which telegraphic authority possess under the India Telegraphic Act,1885 wih respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained, by the Government or to be so established or maintained and will undertake the survey, construction, installation, inspection, errection and other works to be followed by commissioning, operation, maintenance and other works for the following transmission schemes.
