भारत का राजपत्र, दिसम्बर 10, 2016 (अग्रहायण 19, 1938) भाग I—खण्ड 2] 11312. तदर्थ पदोन्नति इस ग्रेड में अनिश्चितकाल तक बने रहने अथवा नियमित नियुक्ति के लिए चयन सूची में शामिल किए जाने के लिए अथवा सीएसएस के ग्रेड I में वरिष्ठता का दावा करने के लिए कोई अधिकार नहीं देती है। इस तदर्थ नियुक्ति को बिना कोई कारण दिए किसी भी समय समाप्त किया जा सकता है। अवर सचिव ग्रेड में तदर्थ आधार पर की गई सेवा इस ग्रेड में अथवा अगले उच्च ग्रेड में पदोन्नति के लिए वरिष्ठता के प्रयोजनार्थ उपयोग नहीं की जाएगी।
